Highly unprofessional and unorganized. The unit i had for over 10 years was auctioned off without my being notified due to the new owners website not properly processing my payments. I dont recommend or suggest using the facility. I have a unit 3 times the size at another storage place in town an have never had a bad experience there so it obviously isn’t anything I did wrong. Still now I’m without many important things. I had such as my late grandfathers pin from the war, all of the photographs of mine and my children, his childhood, and this is after having paid over a decade more than $6000 to store the stuff now for absolutely nothing. Fri, Oct 21: All right, well in response to your claims here, I’d like to ask why I wasn’t sent notices then the way you were supposed to go about it. That was my question when we finally spoke after months and months of attempting to contact you. But see that doesn’t work for me because I have informed delivery service for my mail. I keep screenshot records daily as an automated task on my phone. Now if you have some screenshots of your outgoing mail, then we can talk to the post office and ask them how they lost supposedly 13 notices in the mail. Because I think that sounds highly unlikely . Look, I don’t usually complain, but I obviously paid for that unit on time for a very long time, and never had a single issue until the new management and ownership of which I’ve heard many others in the community complain about. I mean, honestly, do you think I would’ve chosen to pay to store that stuff for years and years only to let it go so I can publicly complain about it. Does that make sense? I don’t think so. Best of luck, honestly, most of my stuff was ruined out there anyway by mold, mildew and mice from the fields, so it probably belonged in the dumpster anyway. Whatever you guys got for auctioning off my trash, I hope you enjoy it. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.
