Great security and ease of use, posting online is quite a pain though as the website always messes up logging in so I just call to pay, you can autopay too. The phone staff are very sweet always and efficiently do their job ... Read more

Everything for the most part has gone very smoothly and without issue. Most people who answer the phone are very polite and very helpful. I’ve rented two storage units and recently switched to the second one from the first. When I called to change units, it was extremely simple and no trouble. Now, I will be the first to say things happen and I am usually a very patient person. After taking 2 truckloads of items on 2 separate occasions and having two different sets of problems, I was still unable to get into the correct unit. During that time, I talked to 3 different people who all gave me solutions and were helpful. The last day however is another story, I attempted for the 3rd time to remove items from one unit to the other, only to find I was locked out at the gate. I was parked in a truck and trailer and could not back out quickly, I called them again, and this time I was given a considerable amount of problems by the individual who, on top of being condescending told me I was behind on the unit and I needed to pay…Despite telling her all of that happened. So yes at this point my anxiety is going through the roof because I’m in a truck and trailer locked out at the gate entrance…what if other people need to get in? I start to get irritated and I’m sure my voice showed it, well, they then proceeded to tell me to calm down over and over again, I said please do not tell me to calm down because I have driven over 60 miles 3 different times and I am locked out sitting in the entrance. They then threatened to hang up on me…..So, I just stopped talking and told her to do what she needed to do, she then proceeded to say she would if I calmed down, I said again, do not tell me to calm down and please talk to your manager (in a quiet voice), she then said, I would if you would calm down. At this point, I was so pissed the veins were popping out on my neck, but, I just stayed silent and after a very long pause, obviously wanting to keep it going, they talked to the manager and everything was fine. I was upset by the last day, I did not curse or belittle, my voice was raised in the end because of what I went through and was going through while I was trying to move from the other unit into the new one. I think any normal person would’ve as well, and then to be told REPEATEDLY to calm down, even when quiet just seems like 1. Really bad customer service. 2. You are enjoying the drama and wish to keep it going. Horrible day that day, thank you. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that American Way Storage - 2007 West Spresser Street has to offer. These amenities include 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by American Way Storage - 2007 West Spresser Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by American Way Storage - 2007 West Spresser Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $57 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $170 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
