I highly recommend you avoid this place. There’s never anyone on site when help is needed. You call the office and no one ever picks up or returns your calls. I started off at $330ish and now I’m paying close to $500. Mind you, the price just increases without notice. For the price we’re paying for a bogus space…the least you can offer is better customer service. ... Read more

Do not rent from this location! I had my furniture stored here for 6 months (April – September) in unit #643. When I went to move everything out on September 25th, the movers immediately noticed severe water damage and mold all over my furniture. The smell was overwhelming, and all of my furniture was unsalvageable. It was not safe to keep. I took photos when I left the unit, and you can clearly see the discolored concrete, water stains, and mold growth on the floor and walls, clear evidence of a leak. This damage destroyed over $7,000 worth of furniture, which all had to be thrown away. My wife and I keep our furniture in pristine condition, this was definitely upsetting as the furniture we had and loved was all gone from the irresponsibility of Public Storage. I am now dealing with Public Storage’s insurance through Sedgwick, which so far feels like a joke. They told me mold is only covered up to $350 unless I can prove it was caused by water damage (which is $5,000), despite the obvious signs of leaks in the unit. If they refuse to cover the damages properly, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action. Even if I get the whole amount of $5,000 everything costs so much more now and I paid, and I cannot even get the same furniture that I had and loved. The damages well exceed $5,000. This place is not climate controlled as advertised, and my experience proves they cannot keep units safe from leaks. If you value your belongings, do not rent here. I will update this review and share my full experience publicly once the insurance situation is resolved. If you happen to be in storage unit 643 or near it, RUN!!!!! ... Read more

I’m very disappointed that they can’t keep the lot clear of ice in the winter. I had a very hard time getting to my storage unit. There are large sheets of ice and my car was sliding everywhere! I had a hard time getting out of car due to the ice and it wasn’t thin ice it was thick ice. I have photos as well! I’m very unhappy that they don’t take care of this how hard is it to throw down salt! This causes danger to everyone involved I hope they resolve this in the future! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
