Easy to find. Gated area for the locked storage units. Pay by the month; on time. You can set up auto-pay. When you sign the storage registration papers, you'll receive a key and shown the location of the building. Be patient with the registration process. ... Read more

To the person complaining about the tool chest.. May I ask what location this happened at? Because all locations are on camera and I assure you if you would have asked questions then you’d have answers. I do not believe anything like this occurred. Especially since keys aren’t accessible to all employees. Also don’t believe everything you read here folks. Some people steal their own property for insurance sake, get caught on camera, and then attempt to claim they were robbed. Even with time dated camera evidence. Come in and give any location a chance, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Customer service is very important at this place! But will all reviews please keep the old adage “two sides to every story” in your mind. ???? ... Read more

Getting close to our unit we noticed a white pick up truck parked in front. We stopped away from the unit and started walking towards the truck. Out from our unit comes two guys carrying one of my tool chest. My wife said , they work here, I've seen them! Long story short. This is a criminal enterprise, not a storage facility. ... Read more

Read this before renting from these people! Or, if you are a current renter, you may want to think twice about continuing with them. I had a horrible experience! I rented a unit on July 15, paying for the rest of July and August, as well as the security deposit. At the end of August, I went to pay the rent for September, and she said that I had turned in the key, they changed the lock and they rented the unit out to someone else! I did NOT turn in the key, I still have it. I demanded my security deposit back and she gave it to me. Fortunately, I only had about $60 worth of stuff in the unit that has "disappeared". 1) If I "turned in the key", as she claimed, why do I still have it? 2) If I "turned in the key", as she claimed, why did they need to change the lock? 3) If I "turned in the key", as she claimed, why did I not have the security deposit mailed to me? Why did I have to demand it back, then and there (after being told my unit was rented to someone else? ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

The facility at 175-1 East US Highway 20 offers 24/7 access, allowing you to visit your unit at your convenience.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Bennett-s Storage - 175-1 East US Highway 20, available security amenities may include Onsite Manager, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.
