Can't ever get ahold of anybody. Nobody to call, nobody in office, despite it being 1:30 pm on a normal Tuesday. Unit got broken into several times and got no response from the facility about how it happened. ... Read more

Rented my unit online sight unseen, and I was pleasantly surprised. Unit it super clean and very well constructed. I am extremely happy I went with Heartland Storage...plus the automatic gate sensor was a super neat bonus. Renting online was hassle free and everyone i spoke to were kind and courteous unlike "other" storage facilities that only give the option to navigate a kiosk for help. Kudos to Heartland Storage for keeping it real! ... Read more

Just an average storage space. Just moved my stuff out because of another raise in the rent. Not worth paying for. Found a new place just down the street. Cleaner, more accessible, and a better price for the same size unit. If you decide to leave before the end of the month and are expecting a refund for the remainder of the month. You don’t get it! They don’t pro rate when you leave. Would not recommend! ... Read more

Finally moved out! I was a customer from 2019 to 2023. Had multiple issues. In 2019 a work order was placed to fix the weather strip that was on the bottom of the door with the maintenance guy Rob. It was never done. Also in 2021 the snow plowed had shoved the snow up against the door, after I cleared out the snow it was discovered the door was now off track, another work order was placed. We followed up on that every few months when we stopped at the unit and all they could do was apologize and assure that it would get fixed and it never did. What a sham... a lack of caring for their customers. Had to toss a bunch of stuff due to mold over the years. Finally today I moved out into All About Storage for $40 cheaper a month after yet another increase of rent was put into effect next month. DO NOT USE HEARTLAND STORAGE/HOBART STORAGE!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would so it get a default 1 star ... Read more

I'm very disappointed in this heartland storage. I sent my payment over 2 weeks ago and I know they got the payment by now and they're saying my payment is late. I think they're trying to get $20 more out of me. This is not right I'm almost wanting to get my stuff out of the storage. And go elsewhere I've had my stuff here for many years but I'm kind of tired of what I'm having to deal with this now. This storage company used to be good but they have went downhill. ... Read more
