Read some helpful reviews of Foxes Den Self Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

The facility seemed fine when I rented it in November. However, by April everything that we had stored there had been stolen. Only after that did I notice that there were security cameras only at the entrance and that many of the units had pry marks on their doors. Also not once when I was there were there any personnel from Foxes Den at the facility. All communications are by phone and email. I was told that police from both Speedway and IMPD patrolled the area; according to the officer that took our burglary report, that is not true. Since then I have heard many, many stories of thefts from there. Don't even think about using thus storage facility! ... Read more

Always read the reviews before attempting business anywhere. The fact that majority of the reviews claim your unit will be broken into, and it’s an inside job, should say enough. But what’s even more alarming is the “owner” or whomever is replying to the reviews, are ONLY choosing the ones claiming good services, or minor problems to reply to. They can’t be bothered to explain themselves on why so many people, who rent through them, get their unit/RV/trailer robbed. From the reviews of this place, it’s the place you bring your stuff you never want to see again. If you want your items to be all there and intact, don’t use this company. They steal from their customers, and then play crazy. They only want that money you're handing them, and the money they can make off your items. Why do you think they want the DETAILS of what your storing. ... Read more

I'd give zero if I could! Had a trailer with a brand new RZR stolen from the property. They're supposed to have a camera & 1 gate to go.in & out but they couldn't find anything on the camera. Inside job if you ask me. I will never do business with them again. ... Read more

Very bad experience. I accepted the minor flaws of getting locked in on 5 separate occasions, someone leaving a very old and large big screen tv in front of my unit, I ignored the fact that the construction crew was blocking my exit so I had to back up instead and got tar all over my tires and car, no I didn't worry because my things were safe and on their way to their next home. I recently moved across town and have lost a lot of money in getting set up with deposit and all and made a point to get out before the date due to be charged again. I worked very hard along with another person to insure I could save some 60 dollars, though i had considered staying another month, I went the extra mile and got it out of the way. It was July 24th and a whole month passes until I receive a withdraw from my checking account, without no prior authorization or even a simple call of reminder. They have charged me the 60 dollars and a 30 dollar late fee to boot, without my permission or knowledge.. could have very well overdrawn my account. I call the company right away demanding an explanation and explaining how inconvient this all is. She explains that a maintenance person checks the property once a week for late units. Mine was due on a Monday, and if the transaction coincides with his schedule then about 4 days lapsed between when I was out and he had checked it. I was in no way or form occupying the unit after probably 5pm on Monday the 24th, but yet I was claimed to have been and charged as I was. I can only bring perhaps the evidence to support that used my code on the keypad the last day of the 24th. They have no evidence to suggest this either, yet I was thoughtlessly charged. I am still awaiting my refund, though they have not so much as replied to my email I was instructed to send along with my information. In resending the email a week later I have since reliezed that the email address is not a real address, or so I am hoping this is an error on my part, although that seems to make things ever the stranger. Something is fishy here. I came to spill my beans and seen others have had bigger problems in burglary forms which I totally don't agree with. When you pay to rent a unit and it is not kept secure.. by flooding, fire, or human damage, they should be responsible.. at least give you back your money. I am going to fight this tooth and nail cause damn it those are my $93.00 and you took them without my permission, absouluty no warning. I'm sure.they don't have that much paperwork or phone calls going on back a headquarters, where's the customer service or is it just a cover for... FRAUD.? ... Read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IT'S A SCAM! Wish I could give zero stars! I spoke with the property manager today about renting a large unit. He was extremely rude to me. He also was asking a lot of questions about what I was storing, which I thought was strange. In reading the other reviews, I do believe this place is stealing from their own customers. They want to know what you're storing before you move in so they know if it's worth stealing or not. Then they just make it look like a break-in and get away with doing this to all their tenants. I'm planning on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well as the 3rd party online booking company "Self Storage" to avoid others from falling for this scam!! ... Read more

There is never an onsite attendant which is horrible because our storage unit was just broke into again! Although they say its gated, this does not mean anything bc the police officer said that they are constantly breaking in at this location. The over the phone staff has a major lack of concern and I seriously believe that they are inside jobs. Do not use this site, although they are cheap, I definitely understand why now. You get what you pay for! ... Read more
