I went in not having a clue what I needed in regards to space, and let’s be honest, was very up in arms about leaving my belongings somewhere. It wasn’t even 2 minutes after walking in the door and I was at ease. Katie is such a delight, so friendly, knowledgeable about her units and funny too. She helped me with my endless list of questions and concerns and really put my mind to rest. We may be best friends now! LoL! I highly recommend!!! ... Read more

DO NOT RENT FROM N. MICHIGAN ROAD LOCATION! I have 2 units that were fine until they got broken into and it just so happens the location of my units had no camera coverage. They did mention they were getting hit for a while but Corporate or whoever did not seem to be interested in fixing the issue. I also suspect it might be inside job involving the lady at the front desk but can't go further on that right as I have no direct proof. Basically, don't rent from this location, your unit will probably get broken into. ... Read more

I’ve had my storage unit for about a year now and everything has been great. The people who work at Secure Care Self Storage put a lot of effort into doing lock checks for the units daily and will notify you as soon as they can if something doesn’t look right. The property manager, Katie, has been nothing but kind to me whenever I needed help with anything about my unit. She goes above and beyond and truly cares about the well being of the people who are renting out a unit and about their stuff as well. There was an incident where my snow globes leaked (guys don’t ever put snow globes in the storage) and she let me keep a towel that was in her car to where I could transport the snow globes back home in my bin with the towel, and also to dry the bin out. None of my things took damage from the water from the snow globes that leaked which is a relief. She has been so patient as I went through my other bins to make sure all of my stuff and holiday decorations were ok. I don’t have my own place yet and still live with my family, so space can get tight. I have way too many holiday decorations and don’t want to ever get rid of them because they mean so so much to me. The amount of care and empathy Katie had for my stuff and the snow globes that leaked is something I won’t ever forget. Thank you Katie, for all of the care that goes into Secure Care Self Storage. You’re truly amazing at what you do! ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.
