5 stars for Remington who was at this Derby Ks location on Rock Rd. He helped us gain access to the unit we'd rented online and although it was very HOT out there and near the end of the workday his attitude was friendly and cheerful and professional! Remington is the best and istorage is lucky to have him working for them and going above and beyond to fix the problems created by the online representatives. Thanks again, Remington! ... Read more

Remington was fabulous to work with! After an extremely difficult mess we experienced with the call center, (which we had no idea that’s who we were dealing with), Kayla at the Derby, Ks. Emma street office, was the first person that helped us and sent us on to the Derby, Rock Road facility. The call center had things in a total mess. They were wrong on so many things! Thankful we were greeted with a wonderful, knowledgeable, courteous and professional Remington! He was awesome! He got us all fixed up and totally knew what he was talking about. Your call center needs to be addressed. I give 5 stars to Kayla and 10 stars to Remington!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.
