Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Had some questions about other stores around where I’m moving. Des was very helpful. She gave me directions to some public storages by my new place and helped me with prices of different size storages. It was nice of her to be so helpful even it I did not rent a storage from her. Thank you ... Read more

I had a unit here for less than a month and my locker was broken into with all of my furniture stolen and what was left dumped out all over the ground. This location has a broken gate and it has been like this for over a month-wasn’t broken when I first got a unit. I was last in my locker on 12/16 and got a call the following Sunday from a temp property manager letting me know my lock was missing and I need to come inspect my belongings. Thankfully I live close by and got there quickly and found the lock was completely missing with only a couple of things left. I took pictures, videos and reported it to the manager on site and filed a police report. I found out from the police that not only is the gate not working-so anyone from the general public can just come in- but their security system also doesn’t work. It only shows live feed as it’s happening and can’t go through recordings because “a storm knocked out the server a while back and has yet to be fixed”. their insurance-orange door-they provide, which is mandatory, doesn’t cover theft unless they receive proof that theft took place. Like security footage or a broken lock. Do not use this location, in fact I don’t think any location is safe for public storage. I should have used the other place across the street on Pflumm. If you currently have a locker here, save your belongs now before you go through this too. A part of me thinks this was an inside job but it literally could have been anyone. ... Read more

Thos service was horrible. They double charged me and after stopping by and calling about 15 times, I finally contacted my credit card company. When doing so public storage flags and drops your credit card off file. And then they have the nerve to charge late fees when nobody tells you that your payment isn't on file anymore. ... Read more

Eric has come through for me time and time again. Not only does he provide excellent customer service, he keeps the property clean and regulated. My only complaint is that they are short staffed with odd in-office hours, though that I’m sure has more to do with upper management than the employees and Eric. Other than that, fantastic service! ... Read more

What, nobody's going to say anything to me? Owner has no response to my real issues with his unit? Surprise surprise, a company is going to steal money for essentially doing nothing New update: I handed my key to the property manager so they could fix the seal on my storage unit. Nothing has been done, over a month later. What is the laziness for? Don't worry guys, I have an old blanket to stop splashing into my unit and ruining my memories. Never ever recommending this location. Not the sort of place you should keep valuables, apparently. Last time it rained, water went under my door and now my guitar is all wet. Won’t ever recommend, can’t wait to get all the things I care about away from this low effort place. Also why is nobody ever answering the phone when I call. Every single time. I genuinely don’t understand how this place is rated so well ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
