    I never thought I would be writing a review for a self-storage unit. However, this facility is so well managed I felt it necessary to spread the word to those who may be seeking temporary storage. The owner—Polly, could easily be the role model for all other storage facilities to learn from and follow. In the 2-1/2 years of renting a unit at her facility, the grounds were always kept immaculately clean. The first day I rolled-up the door of my unit, even the walls and floor were spotless. Not once did I ever encounter any type of “shady” activity going on whenever I would stop by to grab something from my unit. I always felt that my belongings were safe. On top of that, taking care of business was both simple and relaxed as Polly is very customer-focused and friendly. Now, that’s the way a self-storage facility should operate.     I was in need of a small storage unit and I had very little time to find one. I contacted AA Self Storage of Kansas and although they had nothing available at the current time of need, it was only a few days later that Pollly contacted me and said that one would be available very soon. Fortunately for me, everything worked out and my belongings could stay in Kansas while I returned back to New York State. I must say that phone calls and texts from Polly keeping me updated on the availability and the reassurance that everything would work out were greatly appreciated. No doubt in my mind that if I ever am in need of storage in this area again, AA Storage of Kansas will be my first choice, and it should be your first choice as well.     My locker had mice, it was broken into twice, items stolen. Owner said it was orchestrated by her employee. My locker was not the only “choice” of the thieves, but the owner, Penny, assured me “that it didn’t appear to be anything missing, but if I found things to be missing, I could “claim it on my homeowner’s insurance.” At that time, per my contracted agreement, I had to use the lock “they” provide. After my items were stolen, Penny then verbally permitted me to use my own lock! Then… she installed cameras.She raises the rent without notice and says she doesn’t have to notify you bc it’s a month to month lease. Meanwhile she charges an arbitrary amount of her choosing, but always in her favor. I took my card autopay privileges away from her and the argument just to understand and pay the bill was not worth it. I could go on… short term rental I highly recommend.
