We have rented a unit here every summer while our college student attends WKU. It allows them to move large items to a local safe place and not have to haul refrigerators, microwaves, and other bulky items back and forth. The 5x10 unit is large enough for all the roommates and the knowledge that they will have what they need when they need it after move in ... Read more

Awful! We had unit rented to start today. Got there, gate wide open, no one in the office. Hours listed were 9:30-4, we were there at 9:50...another customer was waiting by office also. Called number, agent tried cell phone of person that was suppose to be working and district manager..no one answered. Canceled our unit and left. What a waste of time!!! ... Read more

Bobby at SROA was very fast, friendly at transferring me to a larger unit at a convenient location almost directly across from my smaller unit so I didn’t have far to carry everything! Thanks SROA for a year of good service with me. ... Read more

My brother passed away on October 13. I called multiple storage facilities in our area, including this one, searching for his unit but was told that no one had him in their system. I just received a call about the storage being passed due a few days ago and was then told today that I would be able to come clean it out by this weekend as long as I have the key, which I did find. I made arrangements to clean it out by this weekend only to get a call less than an hour later that their policy had changed and being able to clean it out was no longer an option since it's going up for auction. My issue is that I can't understand why they didn't call me prior to the auction status since they obviously have my number and JUST called me either Friday or Saturday to inform me of the status of his unit. How is this right?! I understand that it's a business but waiting this long passed the due date, making arrangements with me to allow me to clean it out, and then changing those arrangements shouldn't be allowed. I'm so lost right now and overwhelmed. ... Read more

Great storage facility. The manager is really nice and explains everything really well. Also spoke to a lady when my phone died mid move couldn't remember my gate code. She was very nice and very quickly helped me. They even provided a lock, most facilities do not do that. ... Read more

Edit... the manager was great and quick to help once he was aware of the situation. He hadn't been notified by the call center team at all that there was issue. I'd give the manager and the facility itself five stars. The call center customer service team should get a zero, the manager can't properly do his job if he's not being informed and kept in the loop when calls are made to customer service..... Have tried for three days to get my lock for my unit. Everytime I call I get placed on hold and told the property manager will be contacted and then no one ever gets back on the line or calls me back! I don't see this as an issue with the manager only with the company team itself. The property manager can't help me if they aren't notified but I can't use a storage unit I pay for without the lock! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.
