Was helping my mother in law move 3+ hours away when we arrived at Countryside Mini Storage her storage unit had been locked. We proceed to make payment and payed everything up to date as she was 3 days late on the payment. We were then told that the unit would not be unlocked for 4 hours. We explained to the staff that we had been on the road for over 3 hours and was needing to get the stuff out of the storage unit they proceeded to state that the unit could not nor would it be unlocked until 4 pm and proceeded to get rude. My advice is to not expect much as far as customer service and the owner needs to learn how to run a place of business. In the future I will no longer be doing any business with this place. ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.
