4 stars not because of the location’s service but mostly because my truck is always cancelled due to being late, we’ll I might also mention they never have dolly’s available but all you to book them online. There was a communication error as far as the u haul went but they called to explain the situation and that the truck offered though the website is not u haul and is limited when renting. I have been stationed at Barksdale for over a decade and have used Cubby Hole on a handful of occasions for storage units and have never had an issue until recently. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The units are are clean and so is the office area. A couple of months ago I went in to rent a unit on the 29th of the month. I told the representative that I wanted to start on the 1st of the month because I like to pay all my bills either on the 1st or 15th. He said he can start the paperwork while I am in the office. I did so but he put the start date on the 29th. I again reiterated that I preferred the 1st. He said that it does not matter because it is within five days and no one is late as long as you pay within five days. A month goes by and on the 29th I get a phone call and text message that I am late. On the 30th I get a phone call. On the 31st I get a phone call. I go to the office on the 1st to pay and discuss the harassing messages. They claim it is not them but corporate. Twenty eight days later I get a phone call and text message informing me that I am late. I spoke with the representative on the phone and told him that I am no deadbeat and would pay on the 1st. He asked why they did not just change the date? On the 1st I go to the office to pay and tell them that I am done with the harassment and taking my business elsewhere. I removed my vehicle out of storage on the same day. They were cordial but told me that I would get charged for 10 days because I did not give advanced notice. They also said that I would expect a refund within 30 days of the 21 unused days. The ironic thing is here it is on the 46th day that I moved out and they have only sent half my unused reimbursement. ... Read more
