Absolutely worst customer service I have ever dealt with extremely rude and disrespectful every time I was at the unit they would always harass me. Felt like I had someone breathing down my neck. The very first day you don’t pay your bill on time no matter how long you’ve been there your locked out and made to feel like your a second hand citizen it’s awful I’d never recommend to anyone for any reason ... While renovating our home we moved the entire contents into a storage unit at Berwick Self Storage. Our interactions with the office staff were clear, easy and they were very responsive to our calls. The unit we rented was very reasonably priced compared to other companies we checked. The unit and the property were clean, neat and watertight. We especially liked the security. A locked gate at the entrance required your own passcode to access the property and there were security cameras covering the grounds. None of the competitors offered this level of security. We were very happy with the experience and would recommend them to others. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
