**edit— within only a few hours of posting this, Brittney reached out to me and was quick to remedy all issues. I’m very pleased with the results. Thank you Britney for your fast help today! I rented a unit in September 2025 and upon arriving at the unit, there was a lock on it. I called and had to be transferred to a different unit and provide all my information (including payment info despite already being charged for the month). I expected this to be a one off but when I returned over the last weekend to drop off more items in my unit there was a 2nd lock placed on my unit.my account had already been paid for the month (and was on auto debit) so there’s no reason for this to happen. When I called, I was told by the first person to wait on hold for 1-2 minutes while he contacted the facilities manager - after 10 minutes he didn’t return so I hung up and called back. There was no record of our call when I spoke to the next person, she told me she’s unsure why there would be a 2nd (red) lock on my unit but that she’s heard of this happening before. She said the facilities manager isn’t scheduled to be on site until Monday (it was Saturday when I called) and that nothing else could be done. I was assured I would receive a call from the facilities manager Monday when this person was on site and the issue was resolved. Monday rolled around and it was 3:50pm and I still had not heard from anything so I called back. I was told that there’s no way to contact the facilities manager or to tell if he has been there or not - I explained that I was told I would receive a call when this person was on site to resolve the issue. The person I spoke with told me she understood and made another note to have the facilities manager call when they arrived. I asked what I’m supposed to when they don’t call - she told me I could go there and check for myself! I did not receive a phone call at all Monday saying the issue was resolved - I called Tuesday to follow up, I was told a work order had been previously placed and that she was placing a new one and contacting her manager and asked if I could hold… I was on hold for 40 minutes and eventually hung up. I was charged my auto debit fee this morning as it’s the first of the month despite my 4 calls since Saturday and still not being able to access my unit. This is truly the worst customer service and rental I have ever experienced-I would immediately cancel if I was certain I’d be able to get what’s in my storage unit out successfully. I’m extremely disappointed with this and have had to move a couch twice as I was unable to place it in my rented unit. Not only can I not do anything about this, no one will help me. No way to speak to a supervisor or the facilities manager. Worst business ever! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that KO Storage - 1250 Eastern Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Unstaffed Location and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by KO Storage - 1250 Eastern Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 200 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by KO Storage - 1250 Eastern Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $64 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $99 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
