I love this storage company! They have an elevator to where I never had to drag my items upstairs. I loved how they had a variety of sizes to choose from and the smallest one was perfect for me. The team there new and old were always friendly and responsive! ... Read more

Super easy to rent. Really impressive quick efficient online system. Unit was super clean, facility is well secured and tidy. Security cams and exterior lighting are both excellent. Easy to enter and exit. Texted information provided exactly what I needed to get in. As close to perfect for a storage place that I can imagine. Nice work! ... Read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could!!! Mike was nice the first time I spoke to him & I gave 5 stars & an "Awesome!" because I got a deal when I booked a unit online, however, since then I was charged $201 a month & I just paid the July bill on July 22nd but moved all my stuff out on August 1st. I asked for a refund & was told no refund by Mike per the new management company policy!!! Mike has been blatantly rude several times, he is definitely unprofessional as a manager. The hours for the climate control building are ridiculous!! I moved my stuff to Extra Space Storage on Western Ave. It's cleaner, has much better hours and the manager & other employees are very kind & so helpful!!! Do not store your belongings at All American storage!! ... Read more

Worst storage facility around! Many others in the area with better/safer facilities, much cheaper prices and much better managed! They changed payment systems without properly transferring the correct info resulting in overcharging, late fees that were not legit, overlapping dates and told that the accounts will be prorated at some point in September. No faith left in this poorly managed storage unit facility. Huge potholes in the roads and broken up tar and holes in front of some of the units. Twisted ankle or flat tire anyone? Save yourself some grief and money- go else where! ... Read more

Their property manager Mike goes above and beyond. He is always so pleasant and offers cold water when stopping by. I had some confusion about my monthly rate and he quickly responded to discuss the issue and helped me resolve it beyond my expectations. Keep doing what you do Mike, you are so appreciated ?????? ... Read more

I had an unfortunate run in today with somebody claiming to be the manager, i work for a local nonprofit, we had a donor who requested a donation pick up at this facility. Part of my job is to drive a clearly marked box truck to pick up donations in the greater portland area, when I turned into this facility, I noticed that the donor was not there yet, i called the donor and she told me that she would be there in five minutes. I noticed the gate was open so I proceeded through the gate in order to not block the very small entrance. I pulled off to the side, so I would not be in the way of anybody. After sitting there for about a minute and a half i looked in this side view mirror and noticed an orange truck sneaking up from behind, the man approached my box truck and started aggressively demanding information, due to his demeanor and what I perceived as anger, I was stunned, i told him that I spoke with the donor and that the donor will be there to meet me in just a couple minutes, nope this was not good enough for him. He demanded more information, at this point I attempted to disengage and tried to not feed into him, i told him I didn't want any problems. I was just waiting for the donor to meet me there so I could pick up donations for my nonprofit and go. He continued yelling at me and challenging me, i told him I did not want to speak with him anymore. He then call the number that was written on the side of my truck and complained to my boss about me and told him that I was illegally trespassing on his property. Luckily my boss knew better. Unfortunately, I did not get this man's name. During the course of my career with the nonprofit, I have been to many storage facilities and have never had an interaction like this. I hope that all american storage addresses this issue. Just to be clear, this is the Westbrook location that I am referring to. ... Read more

I have had a few storage units over the years. I can honestly say that All American Storage had the friendliest and most professional staff that I have encountered. I used their climate controlled storage and was very satisfied with the units and the security. I would absolutely use them again if I had a need for storage. Again, very friendly and professional group of folks and great climate controlled building. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
