Be very careful if you plan on using your own insurance. When I was originally looking to sign up I saw that online there was no option for using your own insurance, even though in all of their policies its clearly stated you can. I call the office, but wasn't able to get a hold of anyone. I got a call back later that same day and asked how I could use my own insurance to cover my RV. I was told that I was required to choose one of their "coverage" options on the website, but that if I submitted my insurance information that I would be credited on my next month's bill. During the sign up process through the website I was given the option to upload copies of my insurance information along with pictures of my driver's license. I uploaded copies of everything, including the declaration page from my insurance company. I was able to get my spot number and my pin. I thought everything was taken care of; I was mistaken. I got a charge on my credit card for the rental plus the full price go the "coverage." When I reached out to the office to discuss this I was only able to leave a voicemail. I got a call back the next day from Lenaya who is nice, but she claimed that I was charged the coverage fee because they never received a copy of my insurance information. I told her that I uploaded it during the rental agreement process online. She said "oh our website it not supposed to do that and that I had to email her a copy of my insurance information." When I asked when I should expect my credit as I was promised from my first phone call, she said she would have the check with her manager and get back to me. Over the course a multiple emails, Lenaya originally only wanted to refund $11.60 of the $12.00 for this month's coverage, claiming it was "because we charged you the days, we didn't have any proof of your insurance so we had to charge you ours." Only after pointing out in my first email that their portal website had my insurance information, including policy number and expiration date, did she "talk with her manager and we were able to credit that .40 extra cents back have a great rest of your day!" I am still waiting on the credit from the first month as I was originally promised. I have rented from this same location before and it was never this much of an issue. They were wonderful and able to help me out with any questions I had. However this time they seem to want to fight over $6.59. I'm in management myself and have waived more for customers for a lot less reasons, as I always believed in why fight over pennies when we can keep the customer happy and build a long term relationship that will generate more revenue than the initial issue was over. ... Very good experience setting up the rental of a storage space here-with an added bonus of 1/2 off the 1st full month's rent ! Easy online process with little wait time to get approved and sent the needed information for unit. The only thing that wasn't explained in the process was the need for a copy of my drivers license and insurance on the contents of storage space; this information was sent via email after I paid for rest of month and next month's rent. ... Nice place but when it comes time to leave you have to pay the entire month and provide a 10 day notice. We're emptying the units the 5th day of the month but are being charged the full month without exception. Be sure to make sure that makes sense for you before they gouge you for fees at the end! ... Overall experience of renting, and gaining access to the storage unit was a breeze. Only thing perhaps would be padlock requirements or which ones fit. I bought one that didn't fit quite right, but was able to get a replacement no problem. Great unit so far! ... Read more
