Great service. Sam came in when they were closed because it was my only time I had available to see the boat. Walked me through 4 different models and all the questions I had from my online research for over an hour. Bought the boat and they had the paperwork done and delivered the boat right to my well a week later and spent 2 hours showing me everything on the water. ... Read more

I needed a motor for our Crary Weedroller. Lucas reached out to me quickly, providing a price and ordered the part. He sent a link to make payment and the part arrived from the supplier a few days later. Lucas made the purchase friendly and efficient. Thanks. ... Read more

I've gone through a few marinas for service issues over the last 40 years in the west Michigan area and left them for various reasons. However, I've found that MLM does good work, but when servicing used boats, nobody is perfect. I do some of my own service over the years and I miss something occasionally as well. The key to me is do they make good on their work and stand behind it? I've found that they do and most importantly they don't gouge or BS their way through the process. They do good work overall folks, and have earned my business. ... Read more

After 10 years of using Murray Lake Marina for storing both my old pontoon and now my newer pontoon, I'll be trailering my boat 35 miles to Lynden instead of the 7 miles to MLM. Their service has tanked in the last 2 years. Spring of '23 I was stranded for an hour 400 feet from the launch because they forgot to hook up a fuel line in my outboard. They did finally send a guy out to fix it, and after bringing it to their attention several times I never got an apology or explanation. This past Spring 3 of my calls within a 2 week span asking when my boat would be ready to pick up were answered with "let me check with the guys, I'll call you back." I never got a call back. On my 4th call I got the same answer then was texted it was ready. However the spare I requested to be put on the trailer in the fall when I dropped it off, was not yet on. So, I had to bring the trailer back to them. After another 2 weeks I called and the spare was on. When I picked it up one of the service techs was at the front desk and when I told him what I was there for he replied: "You were the one waiting on the spare? That tire's been sitting here for a month waiting for someone to put it on!" But the topper was my Mercury 90 outboard. When I got the pontoon in the water I went to clean it up and noticed some bizarre scraping/damage to the cowling that wasn't there before. I brought this up to Sam (Owner) with pics I took. Instead of the glossy finish on this 3 y/o outboard, some spots were definitely mat. Sam said it was wind damage from a new cover they tried and he had a guy who could fix it and that it's happened to several other outboards. In my opinion, it appears to be from a heat gun they use to when they shrink wrap and they left it on a few spots on my outboard too long. Regardless, a guy picked up the engine cover from my boat and returned it a few hours later saying it was fixed. I have included before/after pics here. They did not repair it. I think MLM is growing too fast and he can't handle it. So incredibly disappointed. Also, to prove those weren’t both “before” pics, attached is a picture of the cowling damage I took today, September 5. ... Read more

Superb dealer in every respect. After shopping multiple dealers in west Michigan, I found Murry lake Marina to be the best place to make a purchase. A pleasant experience with No deceptive or high pressure sales gimmick's, honest and fair, straight and to the point. Sam was not only patient with my many questions and concerns, he delivered my Tri Toon promptly in mint condition. He took time to ensure I was comfortable with all essential and non-essential operations of the vessel. A first time boat owner, he took the extra time I needed to become comfortable. I was never pressured to purchase, nor did I feel like one might on a used car lot. Fair Prices, exceptional service, friendly Marina. Thanks Sam for all your time and assistance. I look forward to mastering the "narrow- low" bridge on the Gun Lake Channel (smile). ... Read more
