Read some helpful reviews of Marysville Self Storage at 110 Eileen Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

We rented a unit at $110 due to selling our home & our move out date was yesterday. We loaded all our furniture & belongings to go to storage. We got to storage to find lock on it. In fact locks on every unit. We tried calling with no call back. We are now forced to pay new buyers a huge fee due to unable move out time period at closing & trying find another storage unit. Due to frequent moves & history of renting from multiple states, this company fails on all levels. We expect a full refund but $$ we had to pay our buyers for 1 day & hired help. ... Read more

Lacks security. They actually have units with doors broken into apparently with crowbars. You can tell by looking at the damage. One unit actually has damage to the wall, apparently by a strike by a vehicle. Was that intentional? Could be, as there's no cameras to see that happening back there away from the main gate. ... When the office is often closed during business hours i asked manger "are you an owner now?" To which she replied "i may as well be!" However when asked why can't you take my credit card for overdue and current rent it was more like "because that's the rules they made" and when asking why the automatic gate is regularly broken and will not open or sometimes not close?" I was asked to leave the office. ... Read more

Kept our account paid so no issues with them. Easy access to our unit. Never had a problem. We gave notice a month ahead that we would be out and after we vacated they promptly sent me an invoice that we were free and clear. I would use them again if the need arose. ... Read more

DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY!!!! I wish I could give this place negative stars! The units leak and you get ticks all over you in the summer months when you go to your storage unit. The gate is all rusty and I am surprised it even works. I am also surprised there aren't more break ins, as the facility looks abandoned, the grass is all grown up and way off of the road. They definitely don't put any maintenance into this facility. The customer service here is also horrible! Katie, the manager, is very rude. The district manager also is rude and unhelpful. They allow their employees to lie and back them up. They are pure thieves here! They also rent Uhauls, go somewhere else for that as well as they overcharge you. Do yourself a favor and use another clean reputable storage facility in the area. ... Read more

Horrible!!! Horrible!!!! I tried to call and make a payment and got bounced around from the answering service who told me they don't service Marysville Self Storage, then to the Port Huron location who laughs at the fact I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to pay my rent 3 days earlier AND charged me a fee for not paying on time... even though I couldn't because answering service told me they don't service that location. Tried to appeal the fee to the District Manager and was left a very curt message stating I was late and should have paid on time and I wouldn't have had the issue. Customer service is definitely not the number 1 focus here. Leaving and never coming back. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Marysville Self Storage - 110 Eileen Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
