Read some helpful reviews of Magnum Storage Facility at 4961 Rice Lake Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

The only thing missing is climate control and electric, however, I'm very satisfied with my unit for the price. High ceilings so there's room to put up shelving and really utilize your space. There is a gate with coded entry and surveillance cameras so the area seems fairly secure. I'm currently on the waiting list to upgrade to their largest unit ... Read more

All our items were damaged and/or completely ruined with mold in the 3 months we stored our things. It seems as though water got in and the unit turned into a sauna. I believe this is an ongoing issue, so I would not recommend storing your valuables here. ... Read more

Rented a 10x20 unit at Magnum Storage for around a year. It's been simple and trouble free, I'd use them again. The unit was clean and worked well, I've had no issues. I was able to get everything set up (lease, keys, auto payment) remotely which was a huge bonus. Any questions I had before or during rental were answered quickly, usually in just a few minutes over email. ... Read more

Do not use this storage facility! All of our items that were in storage were covered in mold after 5 months. There was always ice and snow built up and we had to shovel ourselves in every time we went in the winter. We got stuck and fell on the ice multiple times while loading our stuff. They kept the deposit because we left a working dehumidifier beside the dumpster that one of the Employees said they were going to take with them. Save yourself time and money and use another storage unit. P.S All the photos that are posted on Google maps are fake except the one of the store fronts, the units do not look anything like his pictures. That's should give you a good idea on how the owner does business. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Magnum Storage Facility - 4961 Rice Lake Road has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Magnum Storage Facility - 4961 Rice Lake Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 450 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Magnum Storage Facility - 4961 Rice Lake Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $85 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $215 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
