Read some helpful reviews of Jim’s Truck-Trailer Coachwerks, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Brought our 2022 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel Trailer here for an estimate to get the front windshield replaced in August 2025. The dealer we bought it from had trouble verifying the part number, availability and the price kept changing and we heard Jim's was a "get it done" solution. From my first contact to arrange a time to stop by it was no nonsense, we can, source for windshield found, installed and urethane sealed in and let it cure for a day. Firm fixed price, handled the insurance side. If you want it done right here is where you go. Big shout out to Tanya and our Master Tech Joe for doing it right and leaving the inside perfectly clean after. I'm writing this on 6/2/26 to say no issue through the winter and up and down the road still a perfect install. Thanks for doing it right! ... Read more

GREAT service. EXCELLENT display of professionalism and subject matter expertise. Our motor home developed a malfunction on two spark plugs wiring hardness and coils, which interrupted the east-bound return leg of our month long trip. We were attended by Deb, one of the owners, who told us to visit the location to have the issue looked at right away. Jake, the technician, diagnosed and addressed the issue right away. We were assisted with a near-by location to stay overnight and a timeframe for the repairs. We were on the road by 1300 the very next day. Thank you so very much for your assistance. ... Read more

We had a leak in our travel trailer. We had it to another RV repair shop to have it fixed and it was still leaking. They placed globs of caulk in random places and it still was leaking. After paying over $500 dollars we were told about Jim's Truck and Trailer and how they pressurize the trailer. They located multiple leaks and areas that would eventually leak. They removed all the caulk and sealed the roof professionally. The customerservice is 2nd to none! I picked up our camper and while checking our lights the right rear blinker did not work. I was talking to a woman outside doing some yard work on their property. She said let me get on of our technicians to take a look. I was there 2 hours and they had it fixed. Come to find out the lady (Debbie) is one of the owners. Great customer service and I would not waste my time anywhere else. The staff and owners went above and beyond helping me.I am a customer for life! This is a family run business and they are very courteous. I have been to other businesses and you get, well let's schedule you to bring it back, not a Jim's Truck and Trailer. Thank you Debbie! I can't say enough on how professional this businesses is and the quality of work they do is awesome! ... Read more

I Love this place, the staff is so friendly and caring. I took the bus in for brakes and on my way I lost power and the parking brake light came on. I pulled over and called them, they had a mechanic come to me and look at things, then followed me to their shop, and never charged me for the extra service. I have been using Jim's Truck and Trailer for years due to their professionalism, knowledge and understanding of issues with buses. In my opinion they can fix anything from buses, trucks, and motor homes. And if you drop something off to be looked at they will drive you back to where you need to go. ... Read more

Wheel Bearing job: Here is what our wheel bearing job looked like when we stopped after 50 miles to check the lug nuts! $110.00 per hour but unable/unwilling to estimate total time to complete even routine procedures such as wheel bearings on a 16 ft RV with 2 tires? If you take your trailer to this company, do not expect that you will be given any estimate of cost other than hourly rate. Expect that the total time to complete even routine maintenance will be SIGNIFICANTLY MORE than other service providers. Also, review your bill. Ours had $200.00 worth of errors/overcharges. Since the invoice was not itemized, we asked how long the bearings took. We were told after the fact that bearings usually take 1.5 hours per tire. But they could not tell us that upfront? Hmmm seems very suspicious and much longer than industry average. For 2 tires that means an extra hour total of time. As shown in the picture, the long expensive job was not done correctly! Our RV was there for 2 weeks. Why was it necessary to have expedited shipping cost on a vent cover that was as much as the vent? It is a standard vent. We were also surprised that it was not ordered when the RV was dropped off so expedited shipping was not necessary. An example of not willing to be mindful of the managing costs for the customer. Jim’s was asked to check on the unusual wear pattern on our tires. We were told it was because the axel was out of alignment and that improper installation of the lift kit was the likely cause. New tires would have cost us around 200-300. Realignment of the 1/8 inch problem and bearings labor cost at $1135.00. Had we had any idea that the cost would have been that high we would not have had the alignment fixed. Since this trailer is not an airstream, the charges and expectation that I wanted to invest this large amount was dishonest. I would expect that if you have been in business a long time that you can warn a customer if you think a repair will be extensive. We were told could take “some time” but never even given a range to expect. Since autos only take about 45 mins to an hour I expect some time to be twice that. Very poor customer service. I heard repeatedly “I can’t tell you how much. Will be 110 per hour. We can tell you when we are finished.” And they added an extra 2 hours of time to the bill that was not showing on the computer. (This was discovered by us when discussing the bill.) And we should trust that 10 hours of work to align, bearings, re-bolt lift kit, 2 small caulk areas and 3 vents? (one of them they told us needed to be replaced.) The owner pointed out numerous times all the problems on our RV. She spent a great deal of time explaining that it was not built properly and they would not make it this way. Now as I reflect it seemed like a scare tactic to get us to buy a re-caulk of the whole trailer. It seems to me that they worked hard to try to find extra “things” that needed attention to add to the bill. They added two caulk areas they found and installed a new vent cover (requested by us due to a crack), replaced another vent they said was a problem and it took 3 hours? Hmmm…. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. My husband (read his review also) and I wish we would have checked reviews and the Better Business Bureau prior to the service. We are not the only one to have experienced excessive charges and refusal to provide estimates. Our efforts to discuss our concerns resulted in minimal adjustments to the bill and rude customer service. ... Read more
