Read some helpful reviews of Claycomo Village Stor-It, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Friendly people however pricing online is very inaccurate to actual pricing making it not competitive with other offerings. Outdoor vehicle storage also requires the vehicle to be operable and cannot be towed in which to me is a very strange requirement considering other indoor offerings don't enforce the same requirements. Friendly people but the pricing and obtuse rules make it a deal breaker unless you really want the convenience of it being close ... Read more

The staff is rude and do not care to make things easier on you in any situation. The prices are high and are about to get higher. There is zero to little in means of security. If you have issues with the owner/management, they will simply evict you as a means of solving the problem. Which is childish and petty. Pretty much any other storage facility would be better than this one. Choosing to store our stuff here was a mistake that I am trying fix. We have rented multiple units here for years so I have had much time to form this opinion. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! I want to add, after reading a lot of the owner's responses to these reviews, the owner only acknowledges a problem after the situation is over. Also, the owner keeps promising to 'fix' this or that but the ONLY employee (Kathy) has been complained about repeatedly in almost every post about being rude in various ways. She has been an employee years and years. However despite the complaints and the promises to fix things she continues to work there and be a complete tyrant to all of their remaining customers. To the owners response: What about your terrible customer service? Did you already forget that almost every, single, post had a complaint about Kathy? Which means you MUST know about the problem and yet you chose specifically not to address that subject. This seems to contradict your words of being able to easily fix a problem. If you cannot fix an employee mistreating customers then it speaks volumes to your ability to solve larger problems. The owner is an immature child, and frankly if you have issues with the owner he will just scream at you, insult you, and then tell you how everything is your fault. He screams at so many people that he can't even remember the individual people he's cussed out. Also, you don't have to meet someone in order to have a phone conversation. ... Read more

We have been renting here for about 8 years and never had a problem with anyone before or now. The employees have always been extremely helpful. It's clean and dry. There Is a new security gate with your own specific code and new security and someone who lives onsite. The rates are cheap compared to other facilities around. Gaining access to our unit is very accommodating to our schedules since we have access our unit 24/7. We would highly recommend this place for all your storage needs. ... Read more

The new management is amazing! Alex is very kind and easy to do business with. Units are nice and rates are reasonable! I've noticed they have an updated security system and a very nice coded entry gate! Nice big units driveway are paved and clean! You can tell some of the previous review were a direct result of the previous managers and not a reflection of the facility itself! Alex is the exact opposite of the negative reviews this place has received in the past! It is worth giving them a shot! I have had a very pleasant experience thus far. ... Read more

I wasn't going to leave a review when we moved out because I didn't want to hassle with it but after being gone a month and a half and still getting phones calls asking if we have left I think I need to! We moved out on the 15th of February. They were informed of this when I paid February rent. I have them our 2 weeks which would have put us right before March 1st. No rent would be due after that. Since we have moved out I have spoke with them 3 times letting them know we are no longer there. On top of it all they tried to charge us for March. I'm only posting this because I yet again had to call them today because they called my husband and woke him up after a night shift. The lady was extremely rude and didn't care because it was her job to call. Just like it was her job to make sure it was updated the previous 3x's we were no longer there and she failed to do so. The are very unprofessional and rude. I will not be recommending them if someone asks. ... Read more
