Read some helpful reviews of KO Storage at 3909 East Farm Road 94, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!! YOUR POSSESSIONS WOULD BE MORE SECURE ON A STREET CORNER OUTSIDE IN THE ROUGHEST AREA IN A CRIME LADEN CITY!! If could give them a negative rating I would. I rented two units on South Scenic and the prices went up shortly after i moved in. There was people sleeping in the units people, having cocktail parties after hours in the units and outside of them. They even had a grill and tables set up right in the front visible to Scenic avenue, so I decided to get out of ko storage. I had no faith that it was in any way secure. I rented another place on the north side of town and within 2 weeks received a text that said effective immediately KO storage now owned it. I was Furious as there was no notice and if I had known that I would not have moved any of my property in. In the previous property that I rented in I moved out of one locker and submitted proof that I had moved out and they continuously charge my card for 5 months. A manager was supposed to call me and never did so I had to go through my bank I have the card canceled and file a complaint to get my money back months later. After moving into the newly acquired Kaos storage my storage was promptly robbed of all of my hunting mounts and fishing mounts my safe and 13 tackle boxes. They did nothing but ask me if I took pictures before I went into the locker and I did not of course because I wanted to see if my stuff was there so I did move things around. They told me to file a police report and unfortunately in my area the police are extremely crooked and if they get wind of your name and address you're on the radar and they will harass you to the point of Madness. I had been through this before with them and had no wish to do it again. Their insurance wasn't even mentioned and they never let me see anything about what was on the cameras. The management was supposed to call me they never did however I talked to customer service numerous times and they know nothing all they know is give me your money and we don't care about you or your possessions or if the price is raised and you don't like it. You are nothing but a bottom line to these people. A month after moving in we had a storm and part of the fence went down and the gate would not close and that I can understand. The fence was fixed the gate was fixed and I was fine for about a month then one day I saw the gate standing open and that was in March or April of this year and it is now October and the gate has been open for over 6 months and I've been robbed again. They say a manager will call me. I sincerely doubt that after my previous problems with them. The items that were stolen from me can never ever be replaced. These are all my memories with my father hunting and fishing all around the world. I'm glad my father has passed because he would be devastated to know that our African mounts, my fish mounts from all over the world, my safe with the jewelry he bought me and all of our tackle boxes are gone. I never knew that my mouths were worth money I only that they were worth everything to me. KO storage did not care whatsoever about my loss and offered me no compensation no, no guarantees of future safety. Show again now in September since the gate has been standing open for 6 months or more now which I think is plenty of time to have fixed it considering they raised my rent from $95 to $136. They are buying up every storage facility in the vicinity and they have enough money to do that but they don't have enough money to make their current customer secure and make their items secure and or replace monetarily the memories that I've lost due to their negligence. You are never able to call anybody in corporate and you'll get nowhere with these quote" managers because they don't care anything about you or your possessions. All they care about is your money and how they can scam you out of more of it. They're no better than thieves. The first time I was robbed, the gate was working and not tampered with, but they never showed me the footage. ... Read more

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this storage company has been beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. I booked a storage unit and was given a gate access code, which I used to organize my move—including hiring movers and renting a U-Haul. When I arrived, the code didn’t work. I was locked out, wasting everyone’s time and money. I left messages, called multiple times, and received no response, not even the next day. I had to call again just to get a new code--- which was the master code instead of a new code that worked, which delayed everything and forced me to extend my U-Haul rental—costing me more money. I have written proof that the original code I was given was incorrect. When I called to ask for compensation for the extra costs I had to cover, I was told to call back later. Since then, I’ve sent three emails and have been completely ignored. To make matters worse, I tried to access my unit again on 8/29—and the code STILL doesn’t work. I'm currently locked out of my own belongings, with no working code and no response at all from this company. Poor organization, zero accountability, and a total lack of communication. I’ve paid for a service I can’t even use. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want reliability and customer service. ... Read more

Arrived to find my lock cut and their lock placed on my unit. Requested the company to remove lock and assess the condition; company refused to until I signed document (attached above). Calling the company’s number for assistance will get you anything but such. It would be in your best interest to refrain from storing anything here or doing business with them. ... Read more

If I could rate the facility a zero I would. I would NOT recommend renting a unit from this facility. They don’t have cameras inside the climate controlled buildings and they don’t keep up on working cameras at the entrance. The process of renting is online and therefore can be forged. Our unit was broken into by taking the metal off the unit on the other side of ours. This same timeframe there were multiple units broken into. They won’t return law enforcement calls and showed no compassion when I called. This facility looks nice but don’t go by that. Take my advice and run from this facility if you want to keep your contents secure. ... Read more

DO NOT EVER use any of the KO storage units. Never late, never put in notice of leaving, I show up, and my lock is GONE, their red lock is in place, and NOBODY at customer service can tell me why, or where my stuff is. I'm only in town for a few hours, and the overseas customer service has exactly zero answers beyond "the facility manager will be in on Tuesday." ****Edit: sent an email, and surprise, no response. Called the number on the actual sign, and was told " I'll send an email. " Without certain information I can't file a police report, and without a police report, no insurance claim filing. They are batting a thousand. *****Edit 2: was able to get information on what happened. Disappointed that some of the major items were stolen, but glad some things were left behind. There needs to be a concerted effort by the company to follow up on units that suddenly show up unlocked, and information documented about when certain actions are taken. Otherwise, locks and security footage are just a dramatic play with no good outcome. Also? The "security" needs to be re evaluated, and perhaps go back to the model of a manager residing on premises. ... Read more

Stay away. These junkies go through your stuff. They cut your locks and steal and then have the nerve to charge you for a new lock. All the same week you dispute a rate increase. Inside job. But they do have a solution!!!! "File an insurance claim". Scumbugs. Insurance claims don't get my personal items back. No security. No cameras. Low lives living in units. The straight face they give you while acting like they have no clue what happened was the final straw. On brand Springfield. They know what they're doing. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that KO Storage - 3909 East Farm Road 94 has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by KO Storage - 3909 East Farm Road 94 can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 900 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by KO Storage - 3909 East Farm Road 94 come at a variety of prices, starting from $67 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $135 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
