We've had a storage unit here for almost a year with no notable issues... until today. My husband and I chose this facility because of the reasonable rates and it seemed safe and secure for us to store our things. Fenced in property with security codes to get in. Well we were wrong! My husband went to our storage unit today to find most of our stuff in the unit had been stolen, including my husband's military gear. Office told us that they had a break recently and locks were cut, but they didn't know when it happened. They told my husband that they contacted him to try and let him know but there are no missed calls or voice-mails on our end. When deputy that we came back with asked about cameras they "weren't working" according to the office. So disgusted with this place. Don't waste your time or money here. ... Read more

These people are crooks! 0/10 would not recommend leaving any of your belongings here that you’ve worked hard for. Storages being broken into conveniently without camera footage and the owner with a smug “oh well attitude”. Do business else where and save yourself the headache! ... Read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!! They break into your storage and steal items. Read my experience! I recently obtained a storage from Landon Road Storage in Gulfport, MS. I placed several newly purchased items in the storage on January 1st. The furniture was put in on December 13th. I returned on January 5th to find out my storage had been broken into. When I open the storage items had been rearranged....dumped out...empty bags..several of items missing ...new towels...sheets..a laptop...television..acrylic nail kit, UV light for gel polish, ninja blender tried to steal my bed....bookshelves (the wrapping has been torn off) and several other items of mine were missing. The lock was not cut or hammered off. There is also a camera at the end of building...right...and you also have to have a gate code to get on the premises. I called the owner who told me...basically told me that it was impossible for that to happen and it was nothing she can do. I explained to her that it was unsual that I had just gotten this storage and brought items on the 1st of January and now my items had been taken on the January 5th, she proceeded to say it was impossible. She had absolutely no concern or remorse and basically laughed. Well when law enforcement arrived she again told them it was impossible and no one had broken into the storage unit. When the owner was questioned about the cameras conviently, the cameras didn’t work...the officer made the report, I had an exchange of words with the owner about her demeanor and lack of professionalism. Fast forward to a friend of mine brother, helped Me move my items to a new storage(who is Caucasi an). The owner comes out (mind you the cameras don’t work) to see what we were doing. He asked her the policy on the items when storages are broken into...she again said it was impossible and that she only insures the building. He asked if the cameras work...she tells him yes (told the police officer they didn’t). She then asks why are you interested in her items...what is it any interest to you...she also says she was only renting for one month anyway. he proceeds to tell her that it doesn’t matter... if I was only renting the storage for 1 day or month and that she was paid to safely secure my items, behind a gated area which requires a code and my items come up missing with a camera being on the end of building. He told were contacting a friend of his that works at the police the department to subpoena the camera footage. She turned her head and basically ran away. I know I won’t get any of items back which is cool...cause I can go buy it all again today. But that’s not the point...these people are renting out storages and then stealing people items. ..DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. ... Read more

Went to the storage on this trip home only to find that a $1000 worth of stuff has been stolen called the owner and she said no had been in the unit yet this has happened to my mom with her climate control unit now the only people who have keys to the climate control unit are the owners. Our lock had not been cut or hit so the only thing I can think of is they have a master key to the locks or they had a lock smith come open them. WHAT EVER YOU DO RENTER BEWARE THEY STEAL AND THEY LAUGH& LIE ABOUT IT would love to the 0 stars if I could ???????????????????? ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
