Purchased unit yesterday and the access code doesn't get me in. It's Sunday and they're closed and there's no emergency contact. I purchased a second unit online expecting the code to work. It also fails to gain access. UPDATE: Their call center wasn't routing calls and it was this review that finally got me a contact. A bit discouraging but happy to report that sometime reached out shortly after the review and got me an access code that worked. ... Read more

I have no words. This is the worst business/ storage facility I’ve ever known. I have lived all over the country and had storage units all over. So I do not say this lightly. We first had our unit broken into with the lock cut without our permission and boxes smashed and glass broken from the staff saying they needed access to a junction box. After seeing things had been broken- they then lied and said they did not enter. We confirmed- they absolutely did. After getting our stuff out and into our home (we only needed the facility 5 months) we realized all of our furniture had been EATEN BY RATS!!!! The amount of rat poop and holes in all my furniture was devastating. I contacted Laura that works at the front desk and she hung up on me. I have asked for the owners contact and it has not been given to me. I am speechless that a business is run so poorly and heartbroken my expensive furniture/clothing has holes in it from rats. If we received a full refund from this place- it would not come close to covering the amount of damage that occurred while being here. If anyone knows who the owner is- I would really appreciate a phone call. ... Read more

Storage rental made easy is how I would describe my experience with Ridgeland Self Storage. The convenience of handling everything via phone or electronically was awesome. The facility is located in a safe well lit area. The units are clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. I’d use them again if necessary. ... Read more

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
