I have no problem with my storage unit itself. I have a problem with the ridiculous amounts of calls, texts, and emails you receive after the 1st (when the unit rent is due). I mean, it starts the VERY next day. And I don't mean just once as a reminder. By the 3rd it's ridiculous. There is a 5 day grace period, so why blow up people's phones? That's ridiculous. Especially for those that almost always pay on or before the 1st. Regardless, a single text or phone call after the 1st as a reminder, until the end of the grace period, would suffice. If my husband got a call at his job before the end of the grace period, we would sue for harassment. That hasn't happened (because I pay the bill), but I'm just saying. Also, a lady got locked in there overnight. She didn't have a cell phone, and tried to walk out and couldn't. Her car needed a jump and she was older. My husband had to drop something off in our unit the next morning, thank God, and he gave her a jump so she could leave. There really should be a way to exit on foot. Every single place I've ever rented from throughout my lifetime you've been able to do so. That is sooooo unsafe. The sensors don't sense you unless you're in a vehicle, or maybe on a bike. There isn't a control panel on the inside, and no one on site to help. No courtesy phone, either. There is absolutely no way to do anything if you get stuck in there and you don't have a cell phone. You just have to hope someone shows up, which is unacceptable. Heaven forbid the stuck person has a medical condition. Edit: In response to the owner; apparently you can't read or you used AI to respond. The lady wasn't stuck "after hours". She was there before closing, but no one came in after her, so she couldn't ask for help. To jump her car. That wouldn't start. And she didn't have her cell phone, as she forgot it at home. So again, it's still a hazard. There's still ZERO excuse for having no way out of the facility except by car. Which you seem to feel obligated to defend. And a lot of people have medical conditions. How dare you suggest that those that do just don't use your facility. Shame on you. As for the "automated messages"? That's crap. Why have them so frequent, a DAY after the first of the month? And it's a LIVE person that leaves messages by the 3rd...so not automated. The messages are automated. And ridiculously frequent. It has absolutely nothing to do with "protecting people's belongings". How do constant reminders to pay a bill....to the point of harassment...have ANYTHING to do with "safety", when it's within the grace period? To anyone with a brain, it's just harassment and strong-arm tactics, and in no way gives customers the benefit of the doubt. It's rude, excessive, and uncalled for. ... Read more

I’ve been really impressed with Park River. They do outsource their customer service, but have always been wonderful over the phone. Affordable clean units. I have never seen anyone actually working in the office. Ruth was great to work with. ... Read more

The absolute WORST company I have rented from. Customer service is HORRIBLE. I'm on the phone with them 30-45 minutes at a time practically every time I go to my unit anymore. Calls are CONSTANTLY disconnecting when you do call them. You are CONSTANTLY having to repeat yourself to them. HORRIBLE matence of the property. They also replaced my lock on my unit without any warning or notification whatsoever. I will be changing units this fall when I have time to switch. I'd move earlier but I just don't have time. Park river storage, don't bother to even call. There is NOTHING you can do to make this right. You have lost a customer at your SHODDY RUN DOWN PROPERTY! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Park River Storage - 17 Red Ranch Road has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Park River Storage - 17 Red Ranch Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 36 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Park River Storage - 17 Red Ranch Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $36 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $145 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
