The staff including Crystal and Susan were extremely helpful and eager to find the best fit for my needs. I was tempted to rent a unit online but glad I did not as I was offered an actual choice when it came to the size I needed. I recommend going in person to see what is available as staff wants to find the right one for YOU! ... Read more

The manager Angie Potts lied to me. They removed my items from my storage unit that was paid, Angie Potts told me my items weren't thrown away and was placed back into my unit, which was a lie. The manager never had a conversation with Angie Potts and zero knowledge of what was going on. So where are my belongings??? ... Read more

I've had a unit here since 2002, and it's been excellent. The latest unit I have is a 10x10, with small roll up door, which is perfect. The office manager was Mo, and she was very helpful to me in facilitating the transfer of my items from a 10x15 to a cheaper 10x10. She was in the office each day I was moving, and was invaluable. Highly recommended. ... Read more

Wouldn't recommend. You can either try to track down someone at the property location by calling customer service for an appointment and hope someone shows up, or you can call customer service several times (hold for 10-20 min) to be told they can not assist you and you need to speak with someone at the property. The fees aren't consistent, and you have to keep calling to find out what you have now been charged for. ... Read more

I bought a unit at auction at this address last Friday unit D37 .The surprise was that some things were missing when we arrived to pick it up. We didn't notice at the time, but two days later I checked the purchase and the cover photos didn't count. The point is that I never buy units at auction here, because they steal some things before the customer arrives. This is the list of what disappeared: vacuum cleaner, girl's chair, work boots, red Nike box, small wooden box, black tennis shoes, folder. Be careful not to buy units at auction at this place. The owner will only respond if he receives 5 stars ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 3710 Monroe Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
