Been with them under 2 years and they’ve hiked our price twice. Started around $140 with military discount. Now it’s $190. You get a small card in the mail saying they’re increasing your price with zero reason. My husband was deployed both times the price increased so I didn’t remove our stuff. We for sure will be removing our stuff in the next couple months. I was informed they randomly pick units and increase that units price. It’s not across the board; however our exact unit, if rented today would be our original cost. I’ve emailed corporate because Wilson Storage says they don’t control the fee’s. I’ve called corporate and they’ve never responded or answered. It’s absolutely criminal, and they have zero reason for the price increase. Go to ANY other storage facility. Once your stuff is in there and they hike the price, you could be stuck until you can move your belongings. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
