    1. Changed ownership so payment wouldn't go through. Escalated to phone customer service. Rep unaware of new ownership. Train & inform your employees! Even if that employee was brought in from another company, they are represent YOU. 2. Was unable to make payment. I was advised to wait until the following week to hear back from someone even after explaining that the payment would be late at that point and I don't want to make a late payment. She was unable to take the payment so that was the only choice I was left with. I set the date on my calendar. I never heard from anyone. I had to call back and chase them to pay them. 3. When I finally made contact, I told them I wanted to mail in a payment because of the difficulties and didn't want my information floating in their system because they have proven through my experience with them that they are not trust-worthy. Rep said The payment would have to be mailed in and likely would be late then I would get a late charge. I couldn't even continue being on the phone with her, so I had my husband call in the first payment. 4. My husband called in first payment. Had to go over everything all over again (beyond ID verification). Shouldn't you value your customer's time?? 5. Payment $12 more than when I was quoted when I began the service. This was only our first full month payment with them. Not happy that it was more just because they merged companies. Not ethical. 6. New ownership-All Purpose Storage website not fully working. Payments working but updating profile information because I moved, not working. Closed the tab and reopened, still not working. Called customer service and they were unable to tell me why but happy to take my payment. It's all money, they don't care about the humans giving it to them. We are in the midst of finding a new facility and will never do business with them again. ... Read more

We were always able to gain access. The hallways of the climate controlled units we clean and we especially like that there was a moving dolly available to get us form the outside to the interior unit. We still have units there and have no plans to change until our final move in January. The phone staff was pleasant and responsive. We would definitely recommend this facility for all of your storage needs. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

The facility at 63 Route 13 is accessible during regular access hours, typically Mon-Sun: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. Office hours and gate access times may differ, so it’s a good idea to check the facility’s posted schedule before your visit.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At All Purpose Storage - 63 Route 13, available security amenities may include Onsite Manager, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.
