So far so good! Incredibly easy to set up online, show up and get moved in the same day. There was a brand new lock in the unit waiting for us, which was great since ours didn't fit. There entry into the facility was pretty bumpy but it's spring in New England, and we are not moving furniture anyway. The unit itself was very clean! ... Read more

This is where a friend of mine has her storage unit and for the most part, its not bad. Not alot that sets it apart aside from the fact that its 24hrs and has a way of setting up an app that will automatically open the gate for you when you pull up. It is very difficult to find if you don't know where it is, its difficult when you do! There's not really any signage or warning that its coming up that you can see ahead of time so she's missed it and had to turn around several times and when you pull in, the begining of the driveway I guess has huge potholes but once your behind the gates, its nice smooth pavement. One notable incident, we found what looked as though someone's belongings from a unit and garbage as well was taken out and thrown all over the place, over the embankment, making a huge mess and in a swampy area and it was never picked up. We tried to pick up some but there was no trash or dumpster to put it in and we were not walking around in the swamp to pick up someone else's trash in the dark. I also feel like its very easy for animals to enter the area where the storage units are and I would be cautious of skunks and porcupine when there at night. ... Read more

Conveniently located, clean, safe facility. Plenty of storage sizes available for your needs. Professional, courteous, and accommodating staff. Best place for my storage needs! Had to update My review after 7 months. This company was recently taken over by another group. Since then the price went up $17 dollars. Still not a bad price. Had to go through some red tape in order to have my insurance cover me and not get charged extra by the storage company. All in all I have been happy with the facility and the service, that is until recently. Late October I tried to access by storage facility and the door was damanged. A month later and it is just now getting fixed. When I asked management if they were going to compensate me for being unable to get into my rented storage space, they said NO - that they store stuff and my stuff is safe so no compensation. Pardon Me? I have not been able to access the stuff I have had be held safely in storage and no compensation 1. for getting items I need out of storage and 2. for not being able to add stuff to storage! Buyer beware. THIS IS NOT AN HONORABLE COMPANY. IF YOU CAN'T GET YOUR ITEMS OUT OF STORAGE DUE TO DAMAGE TO DOOR - YOU WILL NOT BE COMPENSATED! i have never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life. People get storage to be able to access their belongings when they want and if they cannot then they should be compensated. This is crazy talk from Management! I will not be recommending this facility to anyone at this point. Just not worth the hassle. If you have to deal with Iris at Northwood, NH facility don't get on her wrong side as she will block your number and you will never get good customer service again! VERY uprofessional organization of which I will be moving My business away from ASAP! Buyer beware you've been warned. ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.
