So far so good I like the security of the place they're friendly, honest family owned establishment. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is not being able to make a payment online for whatever reason. makes it difficult. I set up automatic payments. If I need to change the card or what have you. I have to call and it's a whole process. Other than that though no complaints this far. Have not had the best experience with storage units previously so I am thankful for sure. ... Read more

We had our belongings stored here for nearly 3 years. Owner is very rude. The day of our move in, he accused us of leaving belongings outside the unit. That stuff was there when we moved in. He calls you on the day your rent is due even though contract states three day grace. We had this place set up on auto pay from our bank and explained this to him every time, yet he never took notes on the account for this. We were never late on payment. When we moved out, we had just payed for the full month two days prior (remember auto pay), yet he would not allow a pro-rated refund. When we got our belongings home, much of it was covered in mouse droppings and had nests. I wish we had moved out much, much earlier. STAY AWAY from this place. ... Read more

I DON'T WANT TO GIVE EVEN ONE STAR BUT IT MADE ME. This place is awful. I am going to be relocating my belongings. I have been here for almost 3 years and I have never been on auto pay, but random payments are taken out, "on accident". Also, late fees are charged even if he's closed (Sunday/Monday) and I can't call to make a payment over the phone, so I call the next day it's open (Tuesday) and he added because I "should have dropped off a check". He is a real jerk to deal with and I could find better service from a brick. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. ... Read more

Stay away from Bresnahan Moving! They wasted 2 weeks of our time and in the end they canceled our move! They are very non-responsive and irresponsible. We contacted them early on. They offered us two dates after a week of trying to reach them. We called back immediately to confirm one of the dates. We didn't hear back from them for another week despite calling them 5 times. At then end, they said that the dates they themselves offered us have been filled and canceled our move. What was even more disappointing was that they didn't even call us to say that our order has been canceled. We found out the fifth time we tried to reach them. Very disappointed at their service. If you want your move to happen reliability and in a timely fashion, stay away from Bresnahan! ... Read more

Was left on auto billing after moving out. After 4 phone calls I finally had to make a trip to the office to get reimbursed. No salt or sand dropped in winter means you are moving everything on a sheet of ice. Air conditioned well, but poorly heated. I ended up with rust problems on some of my belongings after a couple of 50 degree days in early winter. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Bresnahan Moving-Storage - 96 Freemont Road Route 107, available security amenities may include Security Camera, Gate, Onsite Manager, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.
