Storage Sense is a horrible company to deal with. You can never get the actual managers of the properties on the phone and they never answer calls or emails. I have tried to cancel a contract and cancel insurance because I got my own and they ignore my emails and continue to charge me for insurance AND a contract I’ve tried to cancel. Now I can’t even pay for my new storage online because the site keeps denying my card. The whole company is messed up! Avoid using this storage site!!! ... Read more

Though my space is in Cape May Court House, I have referred the Clermont facility to some friends and they are delighted with the service extended by Brittany and her staff. Their comments include the professionalism practiced by Brittany and the fact that she treats them like family. Even my friends have recommended the Clermont site to other friends. ... Read more

For climate control this pad fails. I have damaged totes with water from the unit a comciderable amount of damages assessment is my result from paying onetime at this location of clermont NJ. No one from this place reached out to help. The gate was open all the time that ads no security. As a result my storage unit had door lock damage. When the facility and manager was informed 3 month prior nothing was done. As a result to the incompetence I moved out. Now after a YELP review someone wants to help . Only because I posted it to everyone. My suggestion don't use storage sense at c the clermont location. They showed they don't care. ... Read more

Let me start by saying Brittany, the manager is the bright spot of this place. She is amazing and will go above and beyond for you. The company itself, not so much. The fees they hit you with are super ridiculous and they pile them on so fast it’s like they don’t want you to catch up so they can sell your stuff. I ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
