Read some helpful reviews of Carson Valley/Tahoe Self Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

My name is Don Caspary, I have had a storage unit for several years (8years) to be exact, theses units and the property are very well maintained and clean, also I cannot say enough about the staff and the gentleman who runs the place, these folks over the years have treated me with the upmost respect, their hospitality has been fantastic, each and everyone of them I came in contact with. Over the years there was a time or two that I had forgot to make my payment and these folks went out of there way to contact me and gave me plenty of time to head in and make the payment, that is hard to find these days. Just a very well ran organization inside and out. I never had to worry about my belongings or anything else. Just want to tell the staff and management thank you so much, keep up the awesome work you guys. One big ?? thumbs up for all of you. Sincerely Don Caspary ... Read more

I've used self storage before elsewhere, so I can say with assurance that I've never been so impressed with an operation! The facilities are clean, easy to access and exactly as promised for climate control. The service is outstanding, both helpful and friendly. And last, but not least, they have economical prices -- I couldn't even be upset at the 6-month mark when the price increased a whole $5, which seemed pretty darned reasonable considering inflation. Overall, they have my enthusiastic recommendation to anyone looking for storage space. ... Read more

I have been a customer for several years renting 5 different units over that period. I can tell you I have had an excellent experience. Jerry runs a tight ship. The place is always clean and secure. I love the 24/7 access. They do a great job with maintenance and snow removal and they give you credit if you switch units. Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
