Read some helpful reviews of Mountain Vista Mini Storage at 1940 Ramrod Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Do not rent here. They changed the codes even while you’re being charged and in good standing. They also advertise there office hours on the outside gate and this google listing and NO ONE IS THERE! So disappointing to attempt to pickup my company’s trade show equipment and they aren’t there for their customers. I was there same time others were locked out. AVOID THIS PLACE! ... Read more

When we sign the contract for our unit the website stated that they had on-site management as well as security cameras and now on November 1st they've removed the fact that they were advertising on site management because they in fact never have had it they rent out their units to people who reside there they go through other people's storage units all night long stealing their items the gate was open for 2 weeks not fixed at all so this is a gateless management list never returns phone calls from the office tweaker housing storage if you're ready to have your stuff gone go ahead and ... I currently rent a unit at Mountain Vista Mini Storage. Never in my life have I seen a company work so hard to ignore the issues of its customers. Where do I start… people living on property, drug use on property by people who gain access, bathrooms that are never cleaned, trash cans that are always over flowing because non renters have gained access and trash their stuff there. Police being called to property on regular basis but still issues not resolved. People trying to steal from units in broad daylight and threats of violence. Tenants banging on doors of other tenants to get HELP from potentially dangerous situations because there is never anyone in the office and no one from management will answer calls or texts even when multiple tenants are calling about same issue. And the chief issue above all is not one but two broken gates which management left completely open for several days so that anyone has access to the property at anytime. Access that if you are a renter gets restricted the moment your rent payment is due if not paid but now is free to all because they do not want to address fixing security gates. Side note I have never missed a single payment for my unit. Repeated calls and text have been made to address this issue and the only solution management has attempted is to close the front gate can no longer be opened with access code and leave exit gate completely open at all times. My safety and my units safety have been danger earlier this week people making threats using firearms right outside my unit. All because management doesn’t want to fix the gates and secure the property as promised it would be when I rented space here. ... Read more

This facility is absolutely horrible Whoever the male employee maybe or if he's the owner of the facility is blatantly disrespectful and has absolutely no people skills instead of being calm and level headed he chose to yell when asked a simple question if he has a female employee. He was Asked this question was due to the fact that when filling out all of the information and then contacted by their office it was a female who had been spoken to us. So if he claims that he's the only employee that works at the facility then how could there possibly have been a female inside the office physically if she does not work there ... Read more

I have never been with a storage as simple and easy to get in and out without all the paperwork and signing and well its old school. They. Came from back in the day when you could take a persons word because you were only as good as your word. Its so different now and i am so happy i found this place. I have lost my things in storages so many times. And would have lost this one but they listened to me as a person and understood my circumstances and we worked it our so easily with communication. I highly recommend mt vista storage to anyone and everyone. You will never have the good experience like this anywhere. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Mountain Vista Mini Storage - 1940 Ramrod Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Mountain Vista Mini Storage - 1940 Ramrod Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 30 to 2,000 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Mountain Vista Mini Storage - 1940 Ramrod Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $33 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $1,483 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
