Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 2830 East Desert Inn, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

First off your property lady was awesome. She was very helpful. But your vehicle storage is not at all secure. There is nothing she can do. Ownership needs to fix this During our short rental time of 4 months, our new Truck was broken into several times including having our window broken. When we returned on September 24th, we witnessed every stored car had been broken into. All broken windows on both sides of us. We learned that this is a known thing at this storage facility for the past few years for cars stored, but was never disclosed to us. Your company has a obligation when the vehicle area is continuing to be broken into, to properly secure the area and advise people that you have been experiencing a near 100% break in rate for vehicle storage. But no. What do you do? After only a few months you increase the monthly rate by more than 40%. Then you change the terms where if your area becomes trashed (like all the stuff ripped out of you car) and you fail to clean it up, a $50 fine will be imposed. Non refundable. For us overseas people using your storage, we can't just come back. We flew back just to get or truck out, repaired and to a safe place. Motion cameras with alert notifications are so cheap. A after hours notification could have had you able to notify police, at a cost of Pennies a day. But we paid $2099 just to fly back to move our car. You have a awesome lady there. Now give her the tools she needs to help protect the property ... Read more

I don't know who could possibly give this place a good rating. I parked my car there and I understand if your stuff is vandalized. You're storing it at your own risk. However, I expect it to at least get a phone call to let me know. My vehicle was broken into not only did they not give me a phone call. They didn't even try to secure the belongings that were remaining in the vehicle. You prevent it from being stolen. Not only was my stuff stolen but my battery was taken out of my car. I couldn't believe these people. They said they tried to reach me several times to the employee. I'm to inform me, but never once did I get a voicemail. However, when I was late on my payment, they sure did reach me and get ahold of me when they wanted something like my registration. They sure didn't reach me and get ahold of me. Only when my vehicle was vandalized.Did I not hear anything from them ... Read more

i’ve been renting a 5x5 since 2021 and have been out of state the past 3 years. i have never been late on my payments and i never hear anything from public storage. my rate started at $40 a month and all of a sudden about a year and a half ago it went up to $111. i asked why my rate was changed to more than half of my usual rate and they told me “for making improvements” okay. i recently moved back to vegas and went to my storage and absolutely somebody tried to break in to it. i go to the office at around 12 pm and no one is even there. no one was answering the phone and i couldn’t even get into my unit because the metal and door were broken. i found out from another person renting there that they aren’t even in the office until about 2pm, and at 2pm they say they take their “lunch”. the lady at the office told me that the other person that worked there got transferred to another storage place and she was new. she took a latch off of a maintenance door and replaced the metal part of my unit so i can at least get into it. i asked about the break in and the lady said she was new and didn’t know. first off, i had no idea this storage place was being broken into in the first place- and for them not to communicate anything to me at all is outrageous. i don’t even know when the break in happened. there are also sketchy people living in the units. i wake up the next day to see my rate changed from $111 to $150. i went there that day and cleared out my unit and told them that it’s vacated now. i don’t understand how this is a 4.7 star place. $150 for a small 5x5 unit that gets broken into all the time and they have no communication? i’ve been a loyal customer for years. no thanks. i would not recommend this place to anybody. ... Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 2830 East Desert Inn has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 2830 East Desert Inn can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 2830 East Desert Inn come at a variety of prices, starting from $43 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $327 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
