Read some helpful reviews of Extra Space Storage at 1775 Eden Park Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I was looking to clear my car out of everything. Unit is what I was looking for. Cost little more then I'd prefer to pay monthly just to have a place to store stuff so I'm not driving around with everything. But if my car were to catch fire knowing I wouldn't have to try to pull stuff out of it in an emergency situation. Worth renting a unit. Plus makes it so I can have passengers in my car. ... From the time I moved in to the time I left here, Michael was very consistent and knowledgeable about any questions I had. If there was any sort of problem, he made sure it was taken care of. People like him deserve to succeed in life, so I hope this can bring attention to the upper management there because you guys have someone great working alongside of you. If I ever need storage again, I will be coming back! Thank you again Michael! ... Read more

Renting was easy to setup online. The staff checks to make sure the doors are secure and contacted me when ours wasn’t. The unit was clean and I haven’t had any issues. I would highly recommend this facility for your storage needs. ... Read more

Michael was very helpful ensuring I got a unit before they were all gone for the summer, and made sure the system had my termination date so I wasn’t overcharged the last month. However, I had to drop the rating a couple of stars because one of our boxes had a family of mice living in it. The babies were newly born (eyes still closed) so they must have moved in just a few days before we moved our stuff out. They’d ripped up some cardboard and a plastic bag for bedding, but overall, the damage was minimal (just had to throw out the tennis shoe they were living in). Hopefully this doesn’t turn out to be a big problem for other customers. ... Read more

We’ve used this place 3 consecutive summers and one full semester abroad to store Miami student’s belongings and I cannot say enough good things. They have been absolutely amazing to work with, super clean units, safe and secure facility. If you want easy storage and peace of mind - use this place. Moving our student out for the last time and want to thank them for making storage worry free! You’re the best! ... Read more

*****Attn: To Anyone That Has Property at Extra Space Storage on 1775 Eden Park Dr. In Hamilton, OH, next to Meijer on the West Side***** Note: New readers may want to first read the original comment below. Updated comment posted 7/7/2025: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Find a different storage facility! Extra Space (FREE-FOR-ALL) Storage has the audacity to raise everyone's rent $20-$30 every single year, but they have no security measures on the property. SO, WHAT IN THE HELL ARE WE PAYING THEM FOR? They don't even have someone checking the property at night just to make sure everything is secure. And, management and the rest of the employees obviously know that there are no security measures in place, especially at night, which is when MOST burglaries occur, I imagine. People may think that Extra Space (UNSAFE) Storage offers wired doors to protect their belongings, but they do not have the security system monitoring the wired doors. Extra Space removed the security system that encompasses the wired-doors-feature since they purchased property, but they left the wiring connected (which is ran from the ground up to the top of the doors) to trick people into thinking they still have the security feature in place. I might as well have bought a shed, put it in my FRONT yard WITHOUT A LOCK containing everything I own, and had a sign pointing to the shed that said 'free awesome stuff inside'. Why in the hell are we paying these crooks when they don't even have any type of security on the property? Extra Space has no excuse raising our rent when there is nothing stopping anyone from stealing anybody's belongings. NOTE: None of the perpetrators have EVER been caught. Also, I no longer have a unit at Extra Space. ALSO, THE HAMILTON POLICE DEPARTMENT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT MY UNIT BEING BURGLARIZED. THEY HAVEN'T NOTIFIED ME ABOUT ANYTHING REGARDING MY CASE. I know they have bigger fish to fry, but damn... DO YOUR JOBS! I MAY NOT BE WORKING AT THE MOMENT BECAUSE OF HEALTH ISSUES AND BECAUSE OF HOMELESSNESS, BUT THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU GUYS THE RIGHT TO NOT DO YOUR JOBS. I'VE WORKED FULL-TIME EVERY YEAR CONSISTENTLY SINCE I WAS 14 YEARS OLD; I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A FULL-TIME JOB. BUT, NOW THAT I HAVE CHRONIC HEALTH ISSUES, I CAN NO LONGER WORK. BUT, I'VE PAID INTO TAXES SINCE I WAS 14; I AM NOW 41! I THINK YOU GUYS CAN SWING HELPING ME FIND OUT WHO IN THE HELL DID THIS! END OF NEW COMMENT ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Original Comment: My storage unit was broken into sometime between May 21, 2024-October 25, 2024. There is not enough security at the Extra Space storage facility located on Eden Park Dr. in Hamilton, OH. There should be cameras inside the hallways; there is only 1 camera on the entire property per Hamilton Police Department. The doors that lead to the inside units should be locked after hours, and there should be wired doors that send a silent alarm to notify the police when a unit door is opened without the gate code/passcode being punched in. This facility had wired doors in 2005-2006 when I had an outside unit there. Why would a facility remove previously installed security measures? Seems fishy to me. I will never use Extra Space Storage again once I move out. I will never be compensated anywhere near the losses I have accrued. The photo of the empty box contained a plastic tote filled with irreplaceable porcelain dolls. The whole entire tote is gone. My unit was completely emptied out into the hallway because everything I owned was ransacked and then just thrown back into the unit. My unit was full, and everything was stacked and organized. But as you can see, I am probably missing close to 1/3 of my belongings. I am devastated beyond words. ... Read more

Always make sure to read the fine print before agreeing to buy something. I have to change my original review now that I’ve read over a few things. Not every unit is “Climate Controlled” like I had originally thought. I do wish the indoor units had some form of temperature control otherwise I don’t see the point of having them indoor. But that’s neither here nor there. Michael nonchalantly made me realize that I had my original review listed based off the wrong pretense. As such I’m changing my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star. Thank you again both Michael and the District Manager for reviewing my unit. I appreciate it and just wish I had reached out sooner. I would recommend ExtraSpaceStorage on Eden Park in Hamilton, Ohio. ... Read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone! Their communication is horrible, they tell you what you want to hear to get you into a unit, they make changes to your account without notifying the customer, 2 of the 3 people I have had conversations/encounters with in person have been rude, customer service is severely lacking, and their prices on their units are on the higher end (especially since the recent price increase). I am hoping my circumstances change this year and I will no longer need the storage unit. I can't wait to be done with this place. I have had them for over a year and to be honest if I felt like moving everything out I would go somewhere else. Good for them I have a bigger unit and have really heavy furniture in there. I reserved my unit online and when I received a call to confirm the unit I was given a locked in online price. I asked if it was an introductory price, meaning after a certain amount of months the price will increase. I was ensured that the price will not increase unless there was an overall price increase, then it would increase by that amount only. However, after 3 months my payment doubled in price, I called again and inquired about the price change and was told that the price i was given was indeed an introductory price. I explained that this is not what I was told in the beginning and that I record all my calls and could provide the recording. They declined and basically told me the price is what it is. I did go to the office as well and allowed the office person to hear the recording in person, they pretty much told me there was nothing they could do and apologize for the misinformation. Then this past March my payment went up yet again, I was sent a letter that the price would increase with no real explanation. I am more of a night owl and I don't usually get around to doing things until later in the evening which usually resulted in me not being able to access my unit because it would be after 10pm. I called the customer service and the gentleman I spoke with said I could talk to the office about getting extended access hours. I did go to the office and was able to get extended hours. About 4 months ago I tried accessing my unit after 10pm and was denied access. I called the office the next morning. The gentleman I spoke with at the office told me that no one has extended hours. The way he worded it I took it as he was calling me a liar. After a few minutes of conversation, I asked him when the policy changed? He told me it had changed about 4 months prior. I then asked him if it was policy to make changes to customer accounts with notifying them? (This was more of a rhetorical question). If anyone is planning on getting a storage unit please, please shop around, get all accurate information, don't do anything online, and know what you are getting. ... Read more

I needed a storage unit because my daughter is staying with us, and the entire process couldn’t have been easier. I was able to choose the perfect size and location entirely online, and I even got a discounted rate by booking that way. The convenience doesn’t stop there—I love that I can open the gates using an app, making access effortless. They also provided a brand-new lock for added security (available for an additional price). The facility is clean, well-maintained, and feels very secure. So far, my experience has been excellent, and I’d definitely recommend them! ... Read more

Super clean, very attentive, friendly. I got an outdoor drive up 10x10 they provide a lock for you and you can also have a secondary lock as well. I am very pleased with mine. I definitely wish I had gone with the 24hr time option but other than that it’s awesome! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Extra Space Storage - 1775 Eden Park Drive has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Extra Space Storage - 1775 Eden Park Drive can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 400 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Extra Space Storage - 1775 Eden Park Drive come at a variety of prices, starting from $37 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $405 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
