If I could give 0 stars I would. As new boat owners we dropped our boat off asked to have everything checked to make sure it was good to put it in the water this summer. They had my boat for 5 weeks, never called to say it was ready & we had to contact them to get updates. Once we got boat back and were told everything was checked including all oil and its good to go, only to be on the lake & notice a gas leak when we were on the water. The new mechanic told us the leak had been there for a while (from previous owner) but Deer Creek says they never noticed it. New mechanic had boat for 24hrs and not only found the gas leak but also found the engine oil was never changed & had a filter from 2020. If you take a risk to go here make sure you ask lots of questions b-c when you have a problem they will tell you what I was told "it wasn't that way when we had it" & "you didn't specify ENGINE oil so we didn't check that". Unless you wanna be stranded on the lake I would suggest going somewhere else who actually takes the time to check out everything & not just tell you they did. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

For safety reasons, most self storage facilities restrict certain items. These commonly include:

  • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
  • Perishable food
  • Live plants or animals
  • Cash, firearms, or irreplaceable valuables

Always check with the facility at 23799 State Route 207 for specific restrictions and recommendations.
