Purchased an auction but was never granted access to clean out storage. Both fees paid. To storage and the auction holder. And when I call I'm told that the mngr will contact me and three days later ...no call. No call. And so I call back they once verify that I've paid and I sist the mngr will call me but they can't even tell me who the mngr is or any contact info. I suppose it's a great place if you want a storage with no human contact or ever seeing anyone on the property. But human interaction. NONE. EXCEPT TGE WOMAN WHO OWNED THE STORAGE I WON AT AUCTION BASICALLY STALKING ME ALL DAMN DAY! THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS!!!! ... Read more

Bridgette was AMAZING and so very patient with my phone calls and questions. She was 10/10 making the whole experience worth doing it again when and if it came to it. Amazing and super simple process online! For those that arent as technically savvy, or inclined. Prices are VERY reasonable. Better than any uhaul or other public storage facility i have heard stories of. ... Read more

Avoid this place at all costs. We’ve been renting from this facility since before KO Storage took over. At first, I was glad it was privately owned, but that didn’t last long. Ever since KO bought it, it’s been the same issue every year “prove you have insurance” and every year I email it, only for them to claim they never received it. There’s never anyone on site, and I seriously doubt the security cameras even work. Oddly enough, I had just told my husband we should cancel the unit to save money and because I no longer felt comfortable storing our belongings there. The very next day, we received an email saying we were “successfully moved out” even though we never requested it. My husband went to the unit and (surprise!) no one was there. He couldn’t even access the gate because our code had been deactivated. I called the local number, which was just a call center, and after being disconnected once, I called back and was told the manager had “accidentally” moved us out. A simple phone call could’ve cleared that up but no one bothered. While mistakes happen, the lack of communication is unacceptable. After they reinstated our account, I took it as a sign to leave for good. We moved everything out that week, and I’m relieved to be done with it. Also worth noting: they have a serious mouse problem. If you value your belongings, do not store them here. I’ll never rent from KO Storage again. And if someone from the company is reading this, please don’t bother reaching out. I’ve already explained everything to the employee who helped us close the account. We are done. ... Read more

I am a little blown away. There are people who aren't just out to take your money and take advantage. I had an issue and the district manager Josh got on it right away and didn't leave me hanging. No place is ever perfect but it's super close to my residence and convenience is key for myself. They listened and even dealt with my frustration and went above and beyond what I was hoping for. They earned my loyalty. ... Read more

I haven't moved in yet but the lady in the office was great! She explained everything perfectly. Edit: my storage unit was burglarized There was no cameras in area and the gateh didn't close. No security . The office staff was non existent office closed. I was only paid 2000. For possessions worth more than 5,000. See lock pictures cut off. No cameras except up front, gate wide open. This would not have happened if ONSITE Security and management were actually ONSITE as i was told they were. ... Read more

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Outrageous of state company with ZERO local mgmt. Outrageous late fees. Takes them over a week to unlock for late payment. Gates don’t work, always unsecured. Homeless people and their dogs living in units. All this is is just a money grab. ... Read more

I like the storage facility it was easy to get and when u call the people are very friendly. I would have given 5 stars but my only problem was when u get the storage they don't give u the gate code. And if you get one of the controlled units they don't give u the pin # for it. But it was pretty easy to get you just have to call them and get it ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
