    I cannot express how disappointed I was in the cleanliness, security, and service of Arborstone Storage. Upon discovery of the unit I rented was filthy, the associate on the phone suggested that I clean it while explaining the facility is remote and there is no one on site. I felt, it is their company, they should have a way to take care of their property without burdening a paying customer with doing their chores. It got worse... for over a month the main gate to the facility is broken and is wide open for anyone to access. I called and mentioned it and they said they were aware, however, for over a month the facility has been unsecured. Lastly, the lack of attention to detail and apathy of the employees makes it feel as though management doesn't care and the poor employees are stuck listening to complaints all day long while management does nothing.     Arborstone charged me for a cleaned out unit over the New year weekend. Despite closing out my other unit 2 weeks earlier than I requested, they've charged me for the 2nd although it's also cleared out. I've made 5 attempts to contact them, 3 being email or text with NO RESPONSE over 5 days. I wasn't going to complain about their mice problem but everyone should be aware... set traps in your unit to prevent the little critters from eating holes in your boxes and mattresses! Never again will I do business with Arborstone. VEY UNPROFESSIONAL AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Newcastle offers many other options for storage and I'd choose something else! ... Read more

    Have had a storage unit there for nine years and a second one for almost two years. Last year I went get some things and when I raised the door, the whole thing fell on me. Now, I will say the owners were promptly there and had it fixed the next day but i was starting to wonder about the condition of the place. Fast forward to last week, my wife goes to get some of her sewing supplies and projects she had stored only to find the unit had been over ran with mice. Box after box with holes in them and contents half eaten. Nests in boxes and bags full of clothes and fabric. When I go speak to the two people in the office they act like they’ve never seen a human being before much less what to say about it. Finally one of them calls someone that’s supposed to be one of the owners and I’m told they will call us. A week passes and today I go back in only to be told they aren’t liable for anything but I’m welcome to put bait or traps in there and take care of it myself. I asked why the owner didn’t call me and was meant with a blank stare. I swear the two people “working” there must be related to the owners, I don’t think they could make it anywhere else.
