I had stored my RV there for years, and in the same spot for at least two. I received a certified letter from a tow company saying that my trailer had been towed and would go to auction in roughly a month's time if I didn't go pick it up. I immediately got in my truck and drove over there to confirm that my trailer was indeed gone. I stopped by the office where they informed me that they had a trailer towed because it was in a space where it didn't belong. I'm willing to concede it's possible that it was parked in one of the immediately-adjacent spaces - it's summer and it was emptier than usual - however the part that is completely unacceptable was their repeated assertion that "they had no idea who the trailer belonged to". That means apparently they have no way beyond knowing who-rents-what-space to determine ownership of a vehicle on their property - despite me having to provide regular proof of insurance. For this reason I can no longer trust them to securely house my vehicle and can't continue doing business with them. ... Read more

We had a great experience renting a storage unit at NW Self Storage! The process was easy, the service was excellent and the facility is very clean. It’s so nice to be able to drive inside to drop off boxes, etc. in their climate controlled warehouse. We got the first month free which was an added bonus! So glad we chose this facility. ... We've been renting from NWSS for a few years. They are super close to our home, dependable, easy to access and the staff is really nice. The rents $$ are okay, but they do seem to raise the rents a time or two a year. I guess just keeping up with inflation?? The inside units are clean. They do have small climate controlled storage boxes, but most others are not climate controlled so it can get really cold in winter & warm in the summer. All in all, a good plac to store your overflow, RV & boat. ... Read more

She is always so welcoming when we come in. It turned our already positive experiences with them into exceptional experiences! We have been with them for two years and their friendly customer service staff are consistently delivering the best services. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
