Mike, I will never EVER forget the hard working trust worthy, and patient calm matter of how he manages people that can be rude. How he keeps his cool. I literally witnessed a confrontation on the property he wisely diffused. As I watched. In amazement, I thought to myself, this guy is priceless. You don’t meet gentleman in this world anymore that have the wisdom to talk to a rude individual in a professional manner. I lucked out being here at the right time to witness this , I wanted to get involved, but he had it completely under control. The man made me feel safe. Thank you for hiring him. Why would i go anywhere else store my things. ... Read more

It’s a storage facility, not much more to it. The people are great. The remote access never works so don’t let that feature sway you. The units have hooks on the inside of the door so you have to leave a few inches of space in front of the door or it won’t shut, which makes the already small sizes that much smaller. The only loading area is at an incline so you have to hold onto the cart the entire time you’re loading or it’ll very quickly roll away. I’ve had to chase it down before it crashed into a car multiple times. Also they’ll lock you in at 9 pm if you’re still inside. I had to call customer service to let me out my first time here which resulted in an email, a text, and an in app notification reiterating the hours. 9pm feels too early to close in my opinion. All in all, not impressive. I’ll be switching after this month for the above reasons. ... Read more

About 2 years, the manager threw away my mother’s crazy expensive bed. I called and told them I had problems locating the storage unit I rented online. It was in the evening when we could move the bed and we put it in a unit next to the 3 I was already renting. I left a message explaining what happened. The next day I called and talked to the manager and he said that it looked fine and it was okay. Months later I get a call saying my unit was empty and it was against policy to have an empty unit. I called and asked what unit would possibly be empty and he gave me a number. I said idk that number and told him the ones I had. She said that he broke into the unit that I called about and he okayed the transfer, and apparently didn’t actually transfer anything and “forgot” and then threw out my mom’s $8,000 electric adjusting bed. Like straight up threw it away! The anxiety that whole thing gave both my mom and I was too much. The manager didn’t even apologize. We of course ended up not suing because we can’t afford lawyers. Another time, I was moving things around from one unit to another other units. I was going through a divorce and moved from my house in Seattle which is why I had so many units. I left one unit empty overnight because I was going to start moving I think camping, sports equipment and art supplies into it the next day. I came back and he had locked me out of the unit and gave it away to someone else because I left it unlocked. Other than those issues , my 5 years and between 1-5 storage units and a parking spot was good. The manager was even helpful. The guy who came in to fix problems caused by the manager was helpful also. ... Read more

Came in today to see how much room was in my storage unit and couldn't open my door, Logan quickly helped me and helped me find a solution moving forward to ensure I would be able to have sufficient room and easy access to reorganize. Logan was kind, patient, helpful and very understanding. He explained everything that was going on and what to expect. Thank you very much for all your assistance and kind words while going through this very difficult time. ... Read more

Mike is extraordinarily helpful, and provided exceptional service. I was stressed with a recent move, and he helped make the experience much easier. The property manager, Logan, is also extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He got me the best rate possible on a new unit. The facilities are always clean here and the staff at this location is consistently the best of any storage unit I’ve been too. Five stars! ?? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 4705 SE Witch Hazel has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 4705 SE Witch Hazel can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 4705 SE Witch Hazel come at a variety of prices, starting from $37 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $341 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
