This is by far the nicest and most organized storage facility I have ever been at. Greg and Connie were very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. After a long day of driving and moving it was so nice to arrive, see what we were renting, and go through the paperwork process efficiently. Highly recommend this well-managed, clean, and secure storage facility! ... Read more

We're very happy with Tanasbourne RV & Mini Storage. Helpful, friendly staff... easy access... and a fair price on our 5x5 storage unit. Update... best service ever! We needed more space. The jump to a 5x10 unit was made quite easy by the team. The rolly-cart loaner helped immensely. Thank you for keeping our gear safe. ?? ... Read more

One of the most well kept and safest storage facilities in our area. We have been tenants for the last 8+ years and in that time, Greg and Connie have always been personable, approachable and accommodating to whatever our needs have been. Highly recommend to anyone looking for long term storage or business needs. ... Read more

I don't typically do reviews unless I have something good to say, but due to the principle of the matter, ethics, and to clear my own conscience. I just had to do this very poor review on Tanasbourne RV & Mini Storage. Going there was absolutely the worst business experience I have ever had and I was even recommended to them by a friend. I was being proactive by renting a storage unit in advance and paid 1/2 month before I even knew I needed it for sure. From day one, I had mentioned to their office assistant, while they were away on vacation, that it was possible by September 5th, I would know more, and may not even need to move my things into the storage unit which ended up being the case. From my very first encounter with Greg, the office manager and owner, from my understanding, he continually made reasons/ excuses to practice a form of price gouging. First, he stated he would be fired if he didn't charge me, secondly, he stated if I didn't pay him the 15 days additional funds for notice to vacate and a late fee of $20, that he would take me to auction (and for what!?... I had nothing in the unit ever!). I had just spent $3000 unexpectedly for moving costs, on a very limited income, all on my own, and in an inflationary society. There was absolutely no consideration to even meet half way, no customer-focus nor sense of appreciation for his clientele (at least for me as his customer). It just appeared that all he was out for was to gain a profit and take advantage of the situation being a single female. Then, as it ended up, he even put a big old fat red "lock-out" security lock on my storage unit, so that, I couldn't even get the lock off anyhow and he could continue to rack up the bill for me. I'm certain his plans were to charge me a lock cut fee if I hadn't showed up in person to give him the keys back, in addition to accumulating late fees totaling $46 by the 20th of the month. I didn't even trust the situation so much so that I had to ask to see the storage unit before paying him $84 for nothing, take photos of the empty unit, and ensure the free lock (I thought) they had given to me was officially removed. Again, another disagreement on his part as if I wasn't allowed to protect my own rights. I'm afraid I will never go there again and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Little did he know how bad this had ultimately impacted me, but of course, he's only there to run a business without regard to his customers. So unfortunate. ... Read more

Been storing here for years! Always clean. The site feels very safe too (no issues yet either). Maintenance must be kept up well too, never had a leak or a broken gate either. The staff are super friendly and neighborly as well. Great place to store, especially for long term! Oh and they have a moving truck too! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
