Kelly was extremely helpful to me during this difficult time. The first storage I had gotten was not even close to being big enough but with her expertise she was able to get me the right size for all of my belongings and I am very thankful for her help. She has always been very friendly and understanding of my situation. This woman needs a raise! Thank you so much Kelly for your kindness and hospitality. You rock! ... Read more

This Public Storage took good care of my belongings. In fact I even forgot to lock my unit one time and didn't realize it until I was 100 miles away. Thankfully when I returned thinking the worst. I found a new lock on my unit. The staff put a new lock on it for me. I had to pay for a new lock but my stuff was still there. ... Read more

Absolutely Useless After My Unit Was Burglarized, it's messed up how many people have had their storage unit broken into the same way for years at this location and they yet haven't done anything to stop it from happening again. Another thing it's funny how they don't respond to any of the people's reviews who have been burglarized at their facility. I am beyond frustrated and utterly disappointed with this storage facility after my unit was burglarized. When I discovered my lock was gone and my belongings were missing, I immediately contacted the facility, hoping for some support or, at the very least, a clear process to follow. Just like so many before me the thieves came in from the top of the unit and unscrewed the grate across the top of the unit to gain access, then from the inside they can easily twist the lock to unlocked position with a pair of players. There are even hand prints and finger prints all along the top of many units and they won't get law enforcement to finger print them. 9 out a 10 people who do this type of crime is going to be in the system, meaning they will be identified if they prints were taken but they won't lift a finger. What I got was essentially a shrug and a referral back to the very insurance policy I was forced to purchase from them, then she said rent with us at your own risk. By the way Public Storage owns the insurance company they provide so they 100% benefit from any burglary that don't meet their policy, which is most cases because they do not disclose the crucial info of the policy and how to protect yourself from burglary at their facility and if you are burglarized you shouldn't have to look at the policy because certain crucial info about the policy should have been disclosed when the customer was forced to purchased the insurance. Like taking pictures of everything that goes in the unit and you shouldn't store watches or jewelry because they are not covered. It felt like they washed their hands of the situation the moment I reported it. There was no empathy, no offer to review security footage with me, and no guidance on what my next steps should be beyond "file a claim." It's incredibly disheartening to pay monthly feesfor a supposedly secure unit, only to be met with such a lack of helpfulness when the worst happens. They make you get their insurance, but then offer zero assistance when you actually need to use it. It's a clear conflict of interest, and it feels like they benefit from your loss. I truly regret trusting my belongings to this facility. Save yourself the headache and potential heartbreak – look elsewhere. ... Read more

If you're still on the property just after closing, your gate codes will stop functioning and you will be trapped inside with no clear way to leave. There are no clear instructions on what to do when this happens and calling CS leads to a bunch of useless automated messages. ... Read more

DO NOT keep stuff here. Our storage unit was just cleaned out. Someone came OVER the top of the wall from behind. There is someone on the second floor (who probably rents a unit there) systematically cleaning out peoples units. Thousands of dollars worth of stuff. Memories. Entire parts of our lives, just gone. Beware. And another person on our same floor was just emptied out. The police know his name. ... Read more

Currently locked inside this facility with no way to get out. Google said they were open til 9. We get here, their manager says they close in two minutes (at 6 pm) so we’ll have to call the number posted to be let out. The number does nothing, there’s no way to speak to a human, and the manager couldn’t be bothered to stick around for ten minutes to let us out. So here we are. Can’t wait to cancel this membership. What an absolute joke. ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.
