Read some helpful reviews of Trojan Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I was happy with this location and company until after 6 months of renting a unit they hiked my monthly cost up $40 a month. My rental agreement doesn't state anything about after 6 months it going up or anything. The reason I chose this spot which is much further away from my home than other facilities with comparable units, security, cleanliness and accessibility was because they had lower prices. With the enormous hike of $40 a month for my unit now cost me more than if I had chose less than a mile away from my home. I wish I would have listened the people and the reviews that not to go with them because they will hike it up all the sudden with little notice so that you aren't even able to do anything about it except pay it. In my case via email that I responded to when I received my invoice stating that there was nothing on my rental agreement of any price increase after 6 months and then it was unacceptable . They returned an email stating they had sent me a letter the beginning of September regarding the increase and that they would send me another one out . I had never received a letter . Unless you want after 6 months your price is hyped up. Don't go with this. I have been told about it and gave him the benefit of the doubt and now I'm sorry that I did. I would not recommend coming here unless you have unlimited amount of money and it doesn't matter what you pay for your storage . Other than that, the facility is very well taken care of and a nice facility, only two elevators. So if it's busy and you're on upper floors and only two entrances other than through the front, it can be a little bit of a weight for the elevators or even to be able to get parking holes to the doors to unload or load. The faculty is nice. ... Read more

Access says closes at 9pm but one day in June I made it to the gate @ 8:58, put in my code multiple times and said I was denied. Then called the phone number listed on the banner on the outgoing gate and the guy had a hard time finding what location I was calling from. By the time we got it all handled it was 9:06 and a month later I got charged $100. The gate locking BEFORE 9PM makes zero sense. If there's a log of when we come in and out why charge $100 to call someone to give us a temporary code so we can leave if it's before your posted time? ... Read more

BEWARE OF TROJAN STORAGE UNITS!! The storage units are designed with a glaring oversight— open space above each unit. This design flaw not only compromises security but also creates an inviting opportunity for theft. Over recent months, we have regrettably encountered a series of break-ins, resulting in the loss of numerous cherished antique items, each laden with irreplaceable sentimental value. The security measures currently in place leave much to be desired. The security cameras are awkwardly positioned at only select corners of the sprawling building, which means that entire rows of storage units are left exposed and vulnerable. If your storage unit happens to be in one of these blind spots, any intruders could easily pilfer your belongings without the risk of being seen or identified. The theft was undetected by camera, and no locks were cut. Zero proof for the insurance claim. We strongly encourage anyone considering these storage options to take a moment to reflect on the existing security measures. It is crucial to understand the significant risks involved when trusting valuable and beloved possessions to a facility that may not adequately protect them. Your treasured items deserve a more secure environment, so please weigh your options carefully before making a decision. ... Read more

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.
