My husband and I flew from FL to PA to help move his aunt to live with us. Our flight got delayed a day, so she had called to let them know we were delayed and that we would be there the next morning first thing to move everything out. The woman on the phone said that was okay she would let the girl who was working the next day know. Well, the girl the next day told us that the only way she should let us out was to pay the full next month. They do not prorate for move out only move in. We had to pay $270 something dollars (a full month) for 2 hours of storage. Our aunt can not drive, so it is not like she could have moved herself out. She literally just lost her husband, was having to move our of the home she lived in for 20 years, and she was also making the difficult decision to leave the state and everything she had known behind to live with us. So, to say she accidently forgot what time of month it was and just asked for a little grace for 1 day is an understatement. These people are heartless. Spend your money with with a place that cares. ... Read more

Not very friendly or accommodating. They are not willing to work anything out with someone who is behind. Even when you want to pay money on the bill, that is not allowed and they want money paid in full or your belongings go to auction. How heartbreaking is that to have your belongings go to people you don't even know as they rummage through your belongings. How sad it is that you want your belongings and want to work something out with this facility. Everybody and I mean everybody has fallen on hard times since this economy has gotten so expensive. Here I'm battling a very bad sickness and only have one income from my husband and we are doing the best we can we tried to explain it to this company they don't really care and all they say is nope we won't accept $263 and you only have until July 5th to pay $760 or your belongings go to auction. I'm so upset that all my hard working stuff that I have in storage, my moms stuff I have from her from when she passed away , my 2 boys things that I have that have passed way will go to somebody who will probably throw this stuff away just because the selfish son of a gun's want all their money instead of working something out with me. Sad when other people in this economic hardship work things out with people why this company would not shame on them and karma will come back and bite them in the butt. ... Read more

My positive comment would be this company has quality units and security. I gave them a 3 because we moved out on the 2nd of the month and they would not work out any credit, so we had to pay the whole month. If you choose to go with them you would need to make sure you move out before the 1st as they will not make concessions for the month, even if you only use the unit for two days (I found this very disappointing and would not use them again because of the final outcome). ... Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
