I recently purchased a used boat from The Boat Shed, and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. I worked most closely with Brian, but the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Brian went as far as to prepare the Bill of Sale for my old boat that I was selling privately! I also had The Boat Shed install a trolling motor, onboard charger, and batteries. The work is clean and the install looks great! ... Read more

After wasting nearly a month with dealers who would not help me custom order the SeaArk I wanted, I found Tom @ The Boat Shed. I went to them despite being half way across the country from me because of their reviews and honest pricing, and am sure glad I did. Tom answered the phone after hours and was quick to help. He had me a price the following business day and the deal was done. Planned delivery in a very reasonable amount of time. Sure glad I made the call to them and I suggest you do the same! Top notch. ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.
