I had use this storage place for over a year. I was never late on payments ( auto pay). I even had given this owner, two other clients. The owner (Kevin) became a mad man when I no longer needed his place for storage. I ask him if he could give me a 2 day extension due to my MS and just lost my service dog of 12 years. I needed the 2 days to make sure the place was left cleaner than when I rented it. He became a stalker doing drive byes to make sure we were working. Ok here is the kicker, over a month has pass by and I get twice as much taken out of my account, than what I was paying for the storage. I called him and he starts yelling at me telling me, that I left the place a mess and hung up on me. Rather than apologize for his error he decided to lash out at a disable single woman. This is a coward, greed driven and heartless person , who needs a "Come to Jesus Moment". If you are a Christian pray for him please . I have attached a photo after all my stuff was cleaned out , which clearly shows no mess was left. ... Read more

Place was good for the first couple months. My family and I had units here, we paid for our own units separately but deactivated everyone's cards in my household if one person's pay was late. Lied about leaving unit dirty so they didn't have to pay back deposit. Easy for water to get into units in heavy rain. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that 81 Self Storage - 11027 Anderson Road has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Gate, Unstaffed Location and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
