I have to say Tabby the manager at public storage is such a breath of fresh air. I went in grumpy but couldn't help but leave with a smile. She is so friendly and personable, She asked how I was and she listened while I vented and complained about my day. Thank you Tabby ... Read more

Units building smelt like urine. Found mice droppings in my things, and saw a couple roaches on my belongings from the unit. Wouldn’t pro rate my cost for leaving their unit right after they drafted an increased amount from my account. Also, they will not let you dispose of ANY items with their dumpster. I’ve used a few storage units in my life, and this one has by far been the worst. DO NOT RECOMMEND ... Read more

??????Renters beware!!! ?????? read the BBB REVIEWS on this company first. I started at $115/month and just three months later, they increased my rent to $180—a more than 50% hike. Public Storage pulls customers in with low introductory prices, then raises the rates drastically once you're settled in. Meanwhile, they continue to offer the same low rates to new customers. This has clearly been their business model for years. It’s a bad business practice that takes advantage of people who can’t afford the hassle or cost of moving again. Be warned before you rent here. ... Read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had this storage unit for less than 6 months and have a 10 x 30. My rent went from $79 to $120 after just 3 months of renting and all my belongings are covered in rat feces and urine. My kids beds are ruined and cannot be used. Our clothes are ruined. The rats ate my shampoo and conditioners, laundry soap, papers, clothes, beds… I will be filing an insurance claim and if my belongings don’t get paid for, I will be filing a law suit. This is absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. I cannot use any of my things left in there because my son has respiratory problems and it will make him sick. ... Read more

TL;DR One star for corporate doing the right thing. Zero stars for Katie from this location. I started renting here in the middle of last month when I saw a deal. The discount applies to the first full month. I set up auto payments which pull on the 1st and thought nothing more. Today, the 19th I received a text and email that my unit would be auctioned if I didn’t send in immediate payment. I checked my account to realize autopay never pulled and my $8 bill turned to $28. I called and asked why auto-pay didn’t pay, and Katie told me it was something wrong with my bank but later said that this is a regular occurrence at Public Storage. When I asked if she could reverse the charge since no one notified me before today, Katie said no way. She said I could try calling corporate but they’d route us back to her. She said she’d usually credit the late fee to the next month but since I’m new, they won’t do it. After reluctantly giving me corporate’s phone number, she made it clear that I’m wasting my time (spoiler: I wasn’t). While speaking with corporate, they investigated my account and immediately offered to refund the $20 late fee. Not what Katie said she’d do for customers of at least a year - have them pay it then credit the account for the next month.. interesting. Anyhow, I called Katie back to let her know that corporate must have changed something, and would you believe she got snarky with me? She said “well I’ve been here 8 years, they’ve never done that.” Honey, I’m nothing special. I’m just not about to pay a late fee when I did my due diligence to make sure my bills were paid. ... My partner rents a ten by ten unit here. It meets all expectations of a standard non climate control unit and overall storage facility. We make a point of maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the unit we rent here so as to lower the potential for rodent and/or insect infestation. Unlike in another unit I rented previously within a different facility, I have not ever seen even the first sign of any pests in or around the property thus far. I have noticed that the staff here are frequently adressing the overall tidiness of the vacant and recently vacated units as well as the aisles and fence lines throughout and all around the facility. The staff members we have interacted with since renting here have all been very polite and professional and helpful when answering any and all questions. We feel confident in the safety and security of our stored belongings due to the presence of a keypad for entering each individual renters' unique pin number on the outside to enter as well as the inside to exit. There is also neat option within the public storage app which allows you to control the gate with your phone directly from the set proximity rather than having to pull up to the keypad and manually enter the pin each time. The facility is not accessible 27/7. The gate will not open late into the evening after dark or before a certain time of morning, and while this has been, on certain occasions, slightly inconvenient, we understand and appreciate the limitations for their added security and safety benefits. Overall, we are highly satisfied with Public Storage ringgold rd and would be likely to recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to store their stuff for a reasonable rate. ... Read more
