I toured this facility today and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. I noticed visible leaks in the building, which raised concerns immediately. The welcome was also not particularly warm, and ultimately, we parted ways because they declined to honor the offer previously extended to me. For context, I had been in communication with them since before the facility opened. I made a reservation and was offered 2 months at 50% off, then later they waived the $30 administration fee due to delays in opening on time. However, the opening date was delayed multiple times. By the time they were finally ready for tours and move-ins, I was out of town with family, and upon returning, I was dealing with medical issues related to my disability that delayed me from going up there, but I tried to reach out about it. I eventually received a call stating my reservation would be canceled. I immediately called back but couldn't get through, then emailed but didn’t receive a response, so I went in person the next morning to resolve it. At that point, I was told they would not honor the original offer because they had enough business. They had multiple units to choose from, and I selected the handicap unit. I understand that I could have communicated more promptly toward the end due to my circumstances, but there were also earlier communication gaps on their side that had been previously acknowledged. If they had opened on time, I would have already had the unit secured before my trip. Given that this is a small, owner-operated business, or so I am told, I was hoping for more flexibility to work things out, especially considering the delays and prior agreement. I would have even met them halfway (for example, one month at a discount and the waived fee). Overall, I was initially very interested in renting here, but the experience felt inflexible and not very customer-focused. Additionally, as someone with a disability, being able to plan and confirm access details ahead of time was important, which made the delays and outcome more frustrating because on their end, they could not accommodate that when I was ready and available. I looked at the competitor pricing afterwards and the competitor has a drive up same size $25-30 cheaper. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
