Michelle is amazing! She made rental so seamless and easy, I was able to move in so quickly & she’s always calling to remind me to pay right before I incur an extra late charge. I feel like she really takes care of me there!! ... Read more

I’ve been using public storage off and on for years. After 5 months my payment is being jacked up 20 bucks when I pay early every month. I think I’ll just quit using them because I don’t like the idea of my payments going up over and over for no reason. ... Read more

Heartbreaking Experience…Relocated to Texas in 2019 and Used Public since worst decision I ever made moving to this public storage location in 2021…Attempted to Move my items 1/22/25 to find All My Possessions Ruined Due it Rain inside the unit Everything was wet molded or rusted there was mice , geicos(lizards) and different types of insects living in the unit. I lost photos and items from my deceased grandmother which is completely heartbreaking. Staff could care less about my loss only care about insurance and she stated she would do an incident report I haven’t heard anything about this situation almost 2 weeks later. Unprofessional insensitive pay all this money in a company for years to be treated so poorly. ... Read more

Had a malfunction on their gates for two days that led to my items being stolen. Insurance claim was denied. Charged me for an extra month after cancelling service. After being told it’d show in my account for over a month on text, I contacted Public Storage themselves, instead of this specific location. They said it was coming as a CHECK. 3 more weeks and I get the check in the mail for 15 dollars……….not the amount I was charged for the month. Laughable service and quality. I’m not dealing with them anymore, so leaving this review for others and taking the little fifteen dollars they gave me back….Didnt even mention the faulty gate they gave me at first, switched me to a different unit, and the different unit had a faulty lock….. ... The security door has been broken for 2 weeks. The neighbors at the hotel are walking through there and dumping their trash. It's not secure. I called the office 7 days ago. Asked for corporate as well. Never got a courtesy call back. Also, it took them 2 weeks to get the glass up at the main entrance. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 2531 South Cooper Street has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 2531 South Cooper Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 20 to 250 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 2531 South Cooper Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $18 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $122 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
